however that does not mean that it is a bad game, as it still upholds the role of being my favourite online multiplayer shooter.

The vehicles, make the game more varied and allows for bigger maps to be used in the stages such as warfare and vehicle capture the flag.
Lets talk about the campaign, the campaign for me was a bit of a let down, the stroyline was incredibly dull and i found myself just skipping it in order to face the missions and get to the real action but after a while i just treated the campaign as a way to brush up on my skills and get accustomed to the maps, guns, vehicles and not to mention the fast pace of the game. After a while i found myself bored of the slowly progressing story and started up with the online modes.
The online multiplayer is fast paced and a ton of fun. As for game modes there is deathmatch, team deathmatch, capture the flag, duel, warfare, vehicle capture the flag, betrayal and greed.
The game modes such as death match, team deatmatch and capture the flag are fast paced, quick killing game modes that for me are the most fun, typically they involve small maps and the most frags or flags being the victors.
The game modes like warefare and V.C.F, are the game modes with more expansive maps that to me are more slow, and time consuming, but are still gripping none the less.
The games maps are also a great part of the game, they are textured really well, and provide a unique experience every time you play on it, you could try sniping on a high point on shagri la, or you could clear out the floors with the bio rifle on deck, the games maps really do vary the way you play each time, although many people stick to the "unique" process of running and jumping as fast as they can and shooting in a frantic and usually unsuccesful manner.
The guns to me are the best part of the game, they are usually interesting to look at but most of all are rather unique, each gun has strangths and weaknesses and usually; in the game modes the player has to pick the gun up in order to use it, exept for the enforcer (pistol) and impact hammer, which aren't particularly that useful but can help at times of need.
mostly the game is all about the multiplayer action its either fast paced, or incredibly involving and because of the fact you never really get bored of the overall action it has a particularly high replay value. I picked this game up for £5 and i feel i am extremely happy with my purchase, if you have the chance to buy this and have some time on your hands i would recommend this because it is soooo much fun!

Advantages: Good gameplay, New weapons and vehicles, Polished feel Disadvantages: Too similar to older games, graphics far too intensive, Not many changes.
...UT2004, the predecessor of of Unreal tournament III and may of been shocked at this games high graphic usage, meaning that if you only have a mediocre graphics card, you're not going to enjoy this game much.
The game play is good, and i like the new editions to the vehicle arsenal and your weapons.
Not to mention the hoverboard, but overall it's the same UT engine, which is both good and bad.
The good is that overall, it still feels like the balanced ... ...allow for significant changes in game play. The new vehicles add an interesting edge, with the necris, and the additions are fun to pilot and use.
The mine layer is one of my favourites, with it's ability to lay down the "slow-mo" cube, a device that creates a cube of "slowed down" time, this gives a major advantage to who evers side the cube is on.
The game has a polished feel, the result of many iterations before hand, and i truly like to play ...

Advantages: The graphics, long...ness, value for money for an awesome game, IT'S UNREAL TOURNAMENT Disadvantages: DirectX 10, GameSpy in the early stages.
I'll start with the graphics. They are awesome. But there are hidden things you can add like lowering DirectX 10 to 9 which improves gameplay a lot. You can adjust your game a lot more than you could when the game was JUST created. And it looks nice (especially with the softness). Sound... Well I didn't notice it much, but I sure liked the Link Gun and the sounds of the vehicles. Also the not noticable sound of spawning and the sounds of the place ... ...it's a deathmatch game - you will never find a way to finish it completely. You can finish the original campaign and maps, but there are also community made maps. Steam saved this game from getting... forgotten. The GameSpy server search system was awful (not like in UT 2k4) and after the free giveaway weekend 3000% more players started to play (I bought it later...). If I had more time I'd type more, but I can't so I won't. Do you need this game? ...

UnrealTournamentIII on the PS3 is the most chaotic, frantic Multiplayer shooter you will play period. Primarily a PC based game, this has stood out on the PlayStation 3 due to the developers allowing the use of user generated content on the system. This content can be found and downloaded on various community websites giving everlasting life to the game. It comes in all forms from new character skins, weapons,modes and even whole new user created maps.
I must say though, this is a multiplayer game, the single player campaign uses a multiplayer style meaning your playing through level after level of deathmatch, capture the flag and team deathmatch against AI opponents. This leaves you feeling stale after half an hour so unless you have your system hooked up to the internet i wouldn't even consider picking this up.

have the cvapacity to do this I highly recommend it as the satisfaction you get from beating other people can only be likened to having a great Frag fest on Quake III or UnrealTournament. Saying that, the AI of the Computer driven opponents is of a very high standard and you can have great fun on your own. As it is now available at a budget price, there is no reason why anybody should not have this game in their software list. Buy it today, or if not, tomorrow! ...
Well I must admit to liking Quake 1 and 2 on the PC and I was really looking forward to playing this on the Dreamcast as my PC has an aging graphics card, but graphically the game is very poor. I have UnrealTournament on the PC and the detail with my old 12meg voodoo 2 knocks spots off Quake 3 on the Dreamcast.
I must admit I haven't played this on the internet but I have played in both single and multiplayer mode, and the standard controls are terrible. They can be customised but I'm a mouse and keyboard man and its just to hard to strafe, move forward and sideways at the same time using the normal Dreamcast controller.
It could just be me but compared to UnrealTournament the weapons seem wimpy, afterall I love firing the redeemer in UT and running backwards to try and escape the blast radius!
I like the implimentation ...
