Advantages Advantages Great gameplay and highly addictive

Disadvantages Disadvantages Some parts can be quite difficult and replaying the same scenes gets annoying!

I love games where you have a real purpose, a real mission. Not only do you get a real mission with Untold Legends: Brotherhood Of The Blade, but you get to pick from a variety of characters, contribute to their design and enhance there skills. As the game loads your given a character selection screen allowing you to choose from the following Knight, Druid, Alchemist or a strange warrior type known as a Beserker; each character works in a much different way meaning that the game is different with each style of character you select. Once you have picked your character you get to change the ... more

Advantages Advantages You name it. UL has.

Disadvantages Disadvantages None that I can immediately think of, but I love the genre.

Untold Legends was one of the first games I played on a PSP and it seriously defied my expectations for a portable console. The sheer expansiveness of the world and the way it randomly generates it's dungeons really opened my eyes to how powerful the PSP is, despite the way it's web browser fails so much. The first part of the game is spent in the fictional city of Aven, the last human outpost. Here you are introduced to the game basics through some easy and short opening scenes, before being sent straight away down into the depths a dungeon to rescue some princess or other. The plot grows ... more

Advantages Advantages Hack and slash madness

Disadvantages Disadvantages Not enough hours in the day

I bought this game looking for a PSP equivalent for such PC titles as Diablo II or Neverwinter Nights. Although Untold Legends is an in depth game, it does not approach NeverWinter Nights. It is very much like Diablo II, even down to the sounds used to pick up gold etc.. OK down to the game,... It is an RPG, run around, search for goodies and power ups and slash and kill anything that moves towards you, or runs awy, or stands still. There are people you need to interact with, and they will tell you bits and pieces of the storyline as you advance. I tried to slash them, but failed... grrrrr ... more

Advantages Advantages Nice graphics, long game, character development

Disadvantages Disadvantages poor music and story

I bought Untold Legends because I was looking for an RPG/Hack and Slash game for the PSP. Having played and loved Baulders Gate, Diablo, Never Winter Nights and Dungeon Siege I was really looking forward to playing a game of this genre on the PSP. Basically you get to choose from four character classes Knight, Alchemist, Druid and Berserker. Once you have chosen your character you get to adventure in the world of Aven. The game can support up to four players in ad-hoc mode but, as I do not know of anyone else with a PSP I have not had the opportunity to try this feature. As a single player ... more

Advantages Advantages Very pretty game, if you like your dungeons and dragons, this is for you.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Bit too repetitive, and a little too much "running around" the same back drops

This was my first PSP game, I was keenly awaiting the US batch of games, saves, on trying to translate Japanese! First impressions - being my first PSP game, small box, think of a DVD case and half it! I was looking forward to this game, I'm a keen player of games of old such as Dungeon Master and the like and hoped this would evoke a sense of nostalgia. Booting the game up, you get your usual choice of characters, a warrior, wizard and the like. The game load times were I guess reasonable, initial impressions of the graphics, "wow - this on a handheld!". Sound, controls are all pretty ... more
