Great game, limited replayability

Advantages Storyline, graphics
Disadvantages Poor controls (a bit fiddly), Quite Linear
[PC version]
I was wandering the local second-hand computer games shop (I like a bargain) and I noticed Urban Chaos for a mere £10. Quickly I purcahsed it, thinking "Even if it isn't great, ten quid isn't too much to spend". I got home and installed it at the earliest opportunity.. losing a fair bit of hard drive space in the process. I soon had the controls sorted out, no thanks to the confusing documentation and the slightly "playstation" controls. The graphics are great and the game has a very atomspheric feel to it- you actually feel part of the city at times. It doesn't have too many levels to the game, but with varied tasks for each level, you are never bored with nothing to do. Sadly, due to the nature of the game, it does not have much replayability- once you have done the missions, all the surprise and suspense is gone the next time you come to play (if there IS a next time). Overall, it is a good enough game with some great graphics (provided you have a 3D accelerator with 8Mb or more) and a twisting storyline.
