Urban Decay Big Fatty Mascara

Advantages: Sleek, good colour, no clumps.
Disadvantages: Doesnt give much length, or value for money.

The mascara is good value for money, if you are looking for basic make-up. If you are looking for massive thick lashes though, I would not reccomend. The product applies easily, but does not give much for length, even though it must be said it seperates lashes well. I found that the more you apply, the more thicker your lashes become...EVENTUALLY. I found that Urban Decay's Big Fatty Mascara was just a big fat waste of money. I went into Boots intent on buying a new mascara, and ended up purchasing this product for £13. I had used Urban Decay eyeliners before, and was very pleased at the result and hoped that this mascara would have an equally satisfying outcome. I liked the packaging - I think that was why I was drawn to it. It comes in a brightly coloured tube with 70s style swirly patterns ...

Other mascaras in the Urban Decay Range have been more succesful for me - I'm not sure if they still sell it but I do recommend their sky-scraper mascara, it's a much better buy than this one, even though I normally have the greatest respect for Urban Decay and their funky products. ...was expecting something fantastic from Urban Decay. Sadly not the case! Although the wand is chunky it is easy to minipulate it's just that the mascara itself doesn't do much. It clogged, dried out after about 3 weeks and generally didnt live up to the name. The tube would be excellent value for money (as it is enormous compared to regular brands) if the formula worked.
