...No, not THOSE lips. Get your minds out of the gutter! Urban Decay Lube in a Tube is a tinted lip treatment product that I invested in during the summer when I often had rather dry chapped lips. What initially attracted me was the funky packaging and the fact that I love Urban Decay's Lip Gunk and eyeshadows. Urban Decay is a relatively new brand in the world of cosmetics. It was launched back in 1996 and is a funky fashionable brand with huge sex appeal. From the appearance of the containers and range of colours I would say it is primarily aimed at outgoing young ladies with a reasonable amount of money looking to stand out from a crowd rather than blending in. ...So what exactly is lube in a tube? Well I'll have you know it's a perfectly innocent treat for your lips. And I mean the ones on your face. Urban Decay say that this soothing, tinted lipbalm is 'designed to weather any urban storm' and that's a fairly accurate description. It's a hard-wearing barrier cream that moisturises deep down, protects from the elements, smells delicious, tingles just gently enough and gives your lips a hint of a tint. The lipbalm comes in a tube not dissimilar to products like the Lancome Juicy Tubes. It's a fairly stingy 8.2g squeezy tube with a slanted applicator with a hole in the middle, the idea being that you can apply it straight from the tube without getting your fingers messy. Advantages: The most fantastic range of colours something for everyone
Disadvantages: Does have a tendency to crease and wear off easily

...When I go out I like my eyes to get all the attention, being my best feature they look their best when played up with a really brightly coloured eyeshadow. I usually go for cheaper make up to be honest but have been hankering after some of the Urban Decay Eyeshadow for quite a while after I was admiring a friends eyeshadow and she told me it was Urban Decay and also after I spotted what gorgeous colours they do in their range. At approximately £10.50 for a 1.5g tablet though I had felt they were quite expensive and couldn't really justify spending that amount of cash on them.
