Although I have not owned my Ammo box for very long, I would like to review it because of its range of colours/value for money.
First things first. This box retails in the UK (from the 'net, larger Boots and most Debenhams) for approx £20. I bought mine brand new off ebay for £15, but the included applicator was missing. No worries.

The compact is just that, but I was dismayed because it was much smaller than what I was expecting (it measures roughly 12 x 9cm) but I guess this makes it handy to shove in a make-up bag and especially good if you are travelling.
The box is super funky. Smooth black casing with purple foil and flock motifs on the outside and around the inside mirror.

I am an eyeshadow newbie (I used to just layer eyeliner colours along my lash line, but I have started experimenting more). This explains why I didn't initially buy an £11 UD eyeshadow! The co-ordinating pairs also gave me a starting point for colours.
Personally, my favourite combination is Sin across my entire lid, with Chopper covering the outer half with a smudge of Smog on the outer corner/crease, with a deep purple liquid eyeliner along the lash line. I have a warm colouring with pale skin, mousy hair and hazel eyes and it really brings out the green/gold flecks and perks up the warmth in my skin without sallowness. (I will edit this review at some point and add a picture if possible, if not, I will add one to my profile)
You will probably find your favourite combination, but I find most of these colours easy to wear. My least favourite is Oil Slick, simply because I find it too dark, but a fine lip brush could be used to apply it close to the lash line or darken the other colours.
The Ammo box has given me confidence with eyeshaow and shown me what my favourite colours and future full-size buys will be, but I also have to option to play around with a great range of colours.
The eyeshadows are smooth and soft, and require very little to get good coverage, so it gives you good value for money. They also blend well to get a seamless look, even with a finger, quickly applied at 7AM (a nice early start for work on a Saturday morning)
So, I think that the Ammo box is a great starter buy if you want a mixed selection of colours for whatever reason, such as experimentation or travel. A thumbs up from me!
Advantages: They last for ages, they are lovely colors and easy to apply. Disadvantages: They are quite expensive.
...cash, and if you like Urban Decay anyway then they are well worth your money, especially if they last over 2 years, I am predicting they may even last another 2 years for me....let's just hope glitter doesn't go out of fashion eh?
The price for this product is between £15-£25 depending on where you buy them from, normally the internet is slightly cheaper and the only high street stores that sell Urban Decay is BOOTS and Debinhams.

...Since i liked the first urban decay kit i got so much i decided to buy this one as the deluxe shadow box was still out of stock at the time. Urban Decay **Packaging** I really like the box that these shadows come in. It is black with purple velvet bits and is very nicely decorated. On the one side you have a purple gun and the other has loads of different shapes coming from it-butterflies,flowers ...I like how this closes with a magnet so i don't ... ...Urban Decay say that the colours in this are their 10 top selling colours. These are set out in 2 rows and it is done so that the two colours are ones that go with each other. The colours in this are: Smog-This is like a deep coppery bronze colour . I think it is very metallically and has a sheen to it. Maui Wowie-This is a medium gold that has silver through it. Mildew-I would describe this as a deep green. It doesn't have any glitter through it ...

After searching for months for good quality eyeshadows I came across this one. I bought it on the decision of the good reviews here and I am glad I did.
It is easy to apply on the eyelids and the colours blend well together. The real beauty of this palatte is the mixed selection of colours. I always apply sin to my eyelids for a good base and it does wonders to keep the other colours on. However, I don't think the eyeshadow lasts as long as I thought ... ...product is light and small so its easy to just chuck it in your bag.
I would recommend it you if you need everyday colours for uni, work and can jazz it up for evening times. Although some colours have more shimmer in them so be careful when applying for day wear. Overall, I do like this product a lot. ...

I have only recently discovered Urban Decay as a brand. Initially I bought this palette because I don't really use a lot of eyeshadow roducts and I wanted a few colours for party looks. I am so happy I bought this product. The colours are great, really intense and high impact. This is especially good because my skin is Asia, and I find that a lot of eyeshadows just fade away. For maximum results use this with the Urban Decay Primer which really holds ... ...black colour in this set which just give a real wow factor, and is great to use for a smokey eye look. You can make smokey eye looks with the other colours in this too, and the colours blend together beautifully. Have a practice before hand though as the smokey look took me some practise, but that's because I'm not really used to using eyeshadow. I always get compliments when I use these products! Also makes a fab present. ...

Whenever I'm going out and want to jazz up my makeup, I undoubtedly turn to my UrbanDecay palette. At the moment UD have three palettes widely available in the UK, the Deluxe Palette, Skull ShadowBox and Ammo Palette. This review is on the Skull ShadowBox.
This palette can be bought from Boots or department stores with an UrbanDecay counter, or online. It, like their other palettes, seems to be only available for a flat rate of £20.
The palette itself is slimline and roughly the same dimensions as a C6 envelope (think the small, squarish envelope that you would get in a pretty writing set).
