    Advantages Advantages Small, compact, lightweight, reaches places conventional vacuum can't

    Disadvantages Disadvantages 24 hours charging time, only runs for 6 minutes before it needs charging again

    Reason for Purchase There were a few factors which contributed to us buying this handheld cleaner, the main one being that our main vacuum cleaner had stopped working and whilst we were waiting for it to be returned to us (it was still under warranty), I couldn't stand the level of dust and cat hair that was gathering around the house.     What I really dislike about hovering is the process of manoeuvring the vacuum cleaner out of the cupboard under the stairs, then jostling with it to get it back in afterwards. Neither is straightforward. The process does not bother me as much when the entire house is in need of a good hovering, but when I merely require some assistance in, say, removing a small patch of dried mud from the carpet, I really object to the whole rigmarole.     The Vax gator has to be one of the best handheld hoovers around at the moment. The hoover is cordless so you don't have to worry about tripping over wires etc. The gator is nice and compact so is easy to store and only weighs 1.2kg so is easy to carry around. The gator is easy to charge there is a plug that comes with it you just fix the wire into the side of it, and they recommend you charge it for about 24 hours.     VAX Gator Handheld 10.8V Model: H90-GA-B In breif this is a handheld cordless Vacuum Cleaner that you charge up and it sucks up dirt off your floors. In detail this is a very attractive, compact and quite powerful little hoover, although when you charge it up (initially for 24 hours) and after that I assume it just needs a charge for a couple of hours or so (doesn't mention that in instructions), it doesn't really last that long.
