Advantages: Inexpensive and works well, once repaired
Disadvantages: Filter seal poorly designed

...This cordless handheld can work well, but someone somewhere made a mistake with the design of the re-usable filter, the rubber seal is too small & inflexible so a lot of the the dust and debris is drawn round the side [you can see this as the nose is perspex] and out into the room. Its a real shame. Vax replaced mine [excellent customer service!] but sent annother with the same fault. Tip! if you have this problem cut a thin strip of that bubbly 'non slip mat' and evo-stick it to the edge of the filter seal, then after 12 hours to dry really well rub talc round the seal and it will then fit snugly and your vax will work well.... ...that this dirt sits in your carpet through the year. I've even tried the cleaner on just a one month old carpet and still found that there's loads of dirt that comes out. I believe these are the greatest results you could hope for with a cleaner like this as you can clearly see what has been removed. One other part to mention is that for people who have pets this Vax cleaner also removes smells, we have a dog and were keen not to have a house that smells of border terrier all the time. I have certainly noticed a difference in a room that has been cleaned, compared to other rooms that haven't. Lastly the hand-held carpet cleaner isn't brilliant, I find that its practically useless for sofa's as it can't suck the water up properly due to the sofa being too soft. ...is in the leaflet making it easier for you to understand. It’s very easy to use, you simply have to turn it on by sliding the slide to the on side and of by sliding it to the off side the on and off bit is wrote on the item. If there are 4 green light lit up then it means that the hand held hover is fully charged. As they go down it means that the battery is lower and lower meaning it needs to be charged. The battery can be charged 300-350 times. The hand held hover contains lead-acid batteries which must be disposed properly. To do this you must call up the vax care line. On the front of the packet it has a picture of the hand held hover (which is blue and white) and at the side it has what the product is (a cordless handheld vacuum cleaner) on the other side it had what other items are in the box (a dusting brush, crevice tool, battery charger...
