Got it home and tried it out and wow what a machine, i thought dyson had good suction, but the vax had even more, you could see it lifting the carpet up as you went over and the dyson only did that for the first month we had it, vax is now 6 months old and still has the suction from day one.
comes with all the normal attachments and also ... ...i will say that the vax is a real heavy hoover for most people and can be hard work to lift up and down stairs, where as a dyson feels alot lighter.
When i bought this hoover 6 months ago it cost me £150, but machine is down under £100 now.

comes with all the normal attachments and also 2nd flexi pipe to extend the hose out.
It has a great attachment that is really good if you have cloth sofa, attahment is just like brush on hoover but in smaller form and when attached to the hose the suction makes the brush spin round, also really good on the stairs.
Hoover has a swicth that can raise it up for different thickness's of carpet and i find the hoover is really good for picking up dog hair, would defo recommend this hoover to anyone that is sick of the dyson and the many times that something fails on them.

Vax is worth ever penny i had paid for it, it is now 6 months and i have had nothing gone wrong with it and no suction loss as to date.
Advantages: much lighter than earlier models and quieter also no loss suction as standard Disadvantages: not enough on board storage for all tools but not big issue

Okay much larger version a giant comp[ared to last ,Big plus longer cable and hose as has extension hose also which is retractable bonus also you can choose to have brush rotating or not, a great idea is the power is the turbo tool like a mini brush for upholstery also the much required extension tubes last model didnt have , on first use of hard floor ... ...newest AIR MODEL and also carpet cleaners but find these rather on the expensive side for a single home however who knows.
