it comes with a six year guarantee and you can see why as i would be suprised ... ...very comprehensive set of instructions with a troubleshooting guide which i have only had to use once due to sucking up a glove (yes it is that powerful) it shows step by step how to find blockages so glove removed it carried on as before.
it has two extension tubes and a crevice tool as well as a brush with a removable head and a turbo type tool for stairs etc. It also has various settings for variable carpet piles

it has an adjustable length handle with the power button located on the top of it which is very convenient and a little headlight, possibly a bit pointless but still entertaining none the less.
it is easy to empty as the dust comes out of the bottom of the cannister and as i have said the suction remains superb still collecting all the dog hair
i would recommend this to anyone who has been through all of te other pet hair type vacuums with no success.
the only disadvantage is that it is quite heavy, although once you have it on the go it isnt to bad i would say that there may be some people who may struggle with it.
Advantages: Can't think of any Disadvantages: Too heavy and extremely unstable - sneeze and it falls over!
...parts were eventually replaced by VAX (worst case 2 weeks) - no retailers hold parts for Vax so you can't go back to the shop for replacement parts.
It is very heavy and cumbersome particularly to carry upstairs. It is also very unstable when using the hose extension - care has to be taken where the upright is placed as it easily falls over when extending the hose despite its weight.
Its only advantage is that it is relatively easy to service and ...

Advantages: Great suction, picks put fine and larger particles with ease Disadvantages: hose is quite short which occasionally causes vacuum to tip up
I find this vacuum cleaner to have great suction, I find it has no problems picking up on all surfaces, we have both carpets and hard floors. Effectively picks up all dirt and debris, was fantastic at clearing up brick dust . It is easy to move around and I have no problems carrying up the stairs and has a good dust capacity .
