To do this in a flight simulator requires scenery that's exactly the same as the real landscape. VFR Real Scenery is an amazing piece of software that provides just that - fly over England and Wales in ... ...a real aircraft. You can see the real countryside from the air and pinpoint every key landmark. They're all featured - streets, buildings, rivers, reservoirs... and all at extremely high resolution and detail!
There is some reasons why i've rated this a three star and not a five star.
To enjoy this to it's full potential, you are required to have a very top end pc.

There is some reasons why i've rated this a three star and not a five star. To enjoy this to it's full potential, you are required to have a very top end pc. I would not recommend buying this game if your computer just about reaches the requirements, mine is just over and it's a pain having this installed, as when you load the game to play, it takes a lot of time. I ended up removing this from my computing due to this.
