"Pop into my garden."

V-tech pop up surprise garden.

This was one of my daughters first interactive toys, and yes you guessed it, she loves it.
I guess she likes it so much because of the music and the bright colours.

So what does it look like.
***************************
Well the base of this toy is blue and yellow, and then placed on top of the base is 2 rows of buttons etc:
On the back row you have:
A hopping rabbit button - White in colour
A peek-a-boo caterpillar button - Green in colour
A hatching bird button - Blue in colour

On the front row you have:
A carrot roller - Orange and green in colour and marked 1 2 3
A apple button - Red in colour and marked A B C
A flower joystick - Green and red in colour

And then on the front of the base it says vtech pop-up surprise garden in the middle and to the left of that you have the on/off switch which has 2 volume controlls.

Whos it aimed at
*******************
Babies 6 months and upwards. At a guess I would probably
say it will last untill they are about 2 years old, maybe
a little longer.

So what does it do?
**********************
Firstly this product requires to AA batteries, which do come with the toy but you are reccomended to change them over.
Well this toy is aimed to help start introducing letters numbers and sounds, as well as phrases.
The activities that can be carried out on this toy are as follows:
1. Move the carrot roller backwards and forwards to see the rabbit move up and down. Whilst doing this you will hear things like:
Im a hopping rabbit, Hop Hop or
Peek-a-boo, where are you or
1 hop
2 hop hop
3 hop hop hop
As well as many other things

2. Push the apple button to see the caterpillar move up one segament at a time, whilst doing this you will hear things like:
A - Apple or
B - Be happy or
C - Caterpillar, im a clever caterpillar or
Lets pop
As well as many other things.

3. Move the flower joystick backwards and forwards to see the bird spin around, whilst doing this you will hear things like:
Sing with me or
Tweet tweet im a bird or
Peek-a-boo where are you

4.Press the animal buttons along the back row and you will hear things like:
Wheres the caterpillar
Wheres the rabbit
Wheres the bird
A B C 1 2 3
Sing with me, followed by a short song

5. Also when pressing the buttons etc you will also be played some tunes. When a tune is being played if you press the same button again you will hear a sound effect being played over the tune. Also the carrot, apple and flower joystick will flash with the tunes

The tunes are as follows:
Pop, goes the weasel.
-------------------------------
Round and round the cobblers bench
The monkey chased the weasel
The monkey thought t'was all in fun
Pop! goes the weasel

---------------------

She'll be coming round the mountain.

Price and availability
***********************
Well all good toy stores should have this toy stocked, I think I have seen it in nearly every toy shop I have been into in the
last year. I paid £9.99 for my daugters but I have seen it priced as high as £12.99.

Care and maintenance
**************************
To keep this toy clean you just need to wipe over it with a slightly damp cloth.
Always remove the batteries when the toy is not in use for long periods of time as with all toys.

Product features
*******************
1. Volume controll - Comes with 2 volume settings so you
wont always be getting a head ache.
2. Automatic shut off - When left for several minutes this toy will automatically shut down to preserve battery life.

What do I think
*****************
I think this toy is brilliant, firstly its bright and colourfull which is a must with all childrens toys. Also its not one of those toys that gets on your nerves. I think its very educational and a great learning toy for young babies/toddlers when they are starting to make noises or speaking their first words.

What does Kelsi think
************************
Well seing as she cant talk yet I really dont know what she thinks but I do know that every timeI get this toy out for her, her whole face lights up and she starts babbling, also she plays with it for ages so im guessing she likes it.

Well I think thats everything, feel free to ask any questions.
Thanks for reading.
