T4 2.0GL WITH RICON SIDE LIFT |
|---|
I have owned my Cravelle for around 8 years, with no problems, it is fitted with a Ricon side lift, and was converted by Invatravel, the lift takes me and my wheelchair into the passenger space no messing, my only regret is the front seats floor level is around 2 inches higher than the rear, so I am confined to traveling in the rear. The only other fault is the positioning of the twin horns, which are fixed under the front wheelarch, and tend to catch the mud and rain. The higher traveling position is an advantage, both with safety and passengers comfort. The standard exhaust has to be changed, but I managed to get a full stainless steel system fitted, and still cheaper than the standard system costs.Overall my Caravelle has made my life easier by 100 %.
