FIRST IMPRESSION
My parents bought me a brand new VW Lupo in October 2004 and the colour is in Jazz Blue, which is a nice colour for this sort of car I reckon. When I first saw the Lupo after buying it my first impression was "...it's soooo small...", which I really didn't expect as there are not a lot of Lupo owners in the UK compared to other cars.

DISCOVERING THE INSIDE
I was so excited when I got into the car and started discovering everything inside and then I saw the cute little sun visor above the internal mirror, which I haven't seen in a lot of other cars. Then the dashboard was another cute/nice thing I like about the car, because when the lights are turned on the colour of the dashboard light is mainly blue with small amount of red. I found it amazing, and the circle design of it looked like the inside of a mini racing car. Although it looks small on the outside it's actually quite spaceous on the inside and I managed to fit five grown-ups instead of four in that liitle car, which I was surprised myself.

ACTUALLY DRIVING IT
When I first started the car I was quite nervous, but also excited. Nervous because it's a brand new car and nervous because it was so small. Was a bit afraid that a big massive lorry wouldn't be able to see me in that tiny thing. After a few rounds of driving around I got used to it and realised it's soooo easy to control. I think it's the easiest car to drive compared to what I've ever driven before. Stalled about twice, but that was it. The only downside is that the engine size of my Lupo is only 1.0 litres, which makes it really slow when accelerating, but that's what you would expect at the beginning.

SAFETY FEATURES
The standard VW Lupo comes with ABS, Driver's and front passenger's airbags, front and rear head restraints, high level 3rd brake light and three-point seat belts.

OTHER FEATURES
Cup-holder and coin tray at the front, driver's seat-height adjustable and power-steering, etc.

PRICE
The price varies between different types of LUPO and also between engine sizes. I bought mine when it was on offer for £6750.

Oh lucky you! wish I had parents who provided me with a new car when I was younger! Not a bad review on a safe enough subject though.
