Advantages: Great family car, very adaptable
Disadvantages: Interior trim easily damaged, can be costly if things go wrong

The VW Sharan is a monster MPV. Its identical to the Alhambra by SEAT and the Ford Galaxy. Having driven the Galaxy as well as the Sharan, I can vouch for this. Advantages: Reliable, spacous, can't hear wife nag when she's in the back seat

PEOPLE CARRIERS

Advantages: Sport kit, alloys, CD player, air con. and Turbo as standard
Disadvantages: Extortionate price for tyres as they are reinforced. Only one remote control key issued.
