This is my second Dyson vacuum, which says a lot in itself! I have owned an alternative "bagless cyclone" vacuum, but found that none compare to the suction power of a Dyson. Just like they say on their advert, if you want something like a Dyson, get a Dyson. Well when I bought this one we had two dogs, one longhaired. When used at first it was fantastic and I thought 'Great' I've found one that does what it says on the tin!. However a few months down the line it worked properly less and less, missing hairs, soon getting bunged up etc. Even when taken apart and cleaned properly with new filters I never got that 'first' good feeling. ...a TWO year warranty from Samsung (against defective materials and workmanship). Booklets: There are details of the warranty and contact numbers, should they be required. Naturally there is an operating instructions booklet, but it only has 8 pages, so no degree is needed to use it. Its basic but does the job. Following Vax instructions for under warranty repairs I brought my machine to their local repair centre where it has been sitting for 10 days without nobody repairing it or updating me until I have complained with Vax service manager who only then informed me that there were no spare motors available for the repair.
