Dyson DC20, First Impressions Fabulous.
Review of Dyson DC 20 Animal PRO by

Advantages: Highly effective, good range of tools, quiet.
Disadvantages: Can't store on end.
...with a free set of Dyson tools, so that took care of the cost problem. However, having now used the DC20 I would pay around £210 for it.
Out of the box it felt like a good quality piece of kit. Has a decent volume container for the dirt (unlike many other cleaners of similar dimensions) and most of the tools fit on the cleaner easily and firmly. Additional tools that are included must be stored seperately, but this is not a problem as there is such ... ...Performance: Scarily Excellent! Even though we vacuum often the DC20 picked up large amounts of previously "invisible" cat hair even though I had only cleaned the day before. Also picked up very fine dirt from where our weekly cleaner had also used her industrial Vax the previous day! Great at getting under furniture and right to the edge of carpets.
From early use it doesn't seem as if there is going to be a problem in getting clogged up which ...

▲Easy cleaning with Electrolux▲
Review of Electrolux Z3042AZ Velocity Plus All Surface Bagless Upright by

Advantages: Fantastic suction & Product features
Disadvantages: Noisy
...models.
I spotted an Electrolux model I rather liked whilst browsing in John Lewis, it did everything I wanted but I wasn't too impressed with the £149.00 price tag, I did however spot an Electrolux brochure which contained details of all their vacuum cleaners ( apart from any prices that is), which I took home to peruse at my leisure.
▲Spoilt For Choice▲
The brochure contained details of 10 bagless upright cleaners ( as well as 4 ... ...cleaner) Our choice was the Electrolux Z3042AZ Velocity + all surface cleaner, priced at £119.99. Himself decided to carry out further investigations using a price comparison site and rather pleased with his discovery, announced he had found the very same model for sale through the Co-Operative Electrical shop for £89.99, yes that's right £89.99 a difference of £30.00, plus delivery was free. More than satisfied with that we placed an order online ...

Electrolux velocity 200w Z3042
Review of Electrolux Z3042 by
chloeelisecarr
Advantages: None
Disadvantages: Really rubbish
I would not recomend this hoover , i have had mine 4 months and its the worst hoover i have ever had. The noise level is the loudest ive ever heard, after five minutes your ears are ringing and your head is banging, the filter has to be washed after every use or it wont pick up. the attachments for the hard floor is an extra long hose as well as the tubes so it wont pick up because it isnt powerful enough to take it all that way back to the hoover. ...

Dyson DC07 Origin vs Turquoise Allergy
Review of Dyson DC07 by
Ladytawny
Advantages: Origin = Excellent all-rounder/ Allergy = Strong suction
Disadvantages: Allergy brushbar very inadequate
Dyson DC07 - Yellow Origin vs Turquoise Allergy models
I bought my DC07 yellow 'Origin' model, 5 and a half years ago and it has NEVER let me down. I am one of those sad people who actually enjoy hoovering and find it extremely satisfying (providing you have a vacuum cleaner that makes a difference!) I usually hoover for a long time (often well over an hour) and leave the Dyson running for all that time; whereas many hoovers would not stand the ... ...this with my original yellow dyson I would have to say I am disappointed overall. Although the suction somehow appears even better than the Origin (proved only by the evidence of extra dust/debris collected AFTER initially using the yellow one, though the carpet already looked immaculate) - this must be the 'Allergy' extra you get with the turquoise model, excellent for hidden dust sufferers. However the brush system of the Allergy is simply not ...

Excellent suction for general use
Review of Electrolux 2250A/Z2250B by
lowri_mai
Advantages: Excellent suction, ergonomic
Disadvantages: Short hose; no indicator light
...scuff-proof so far. Electrolux recommend using their synthetic dust bags; one came with the machine and it wasn't great; it didn't fit that well leading to the machine nearly becoming damaged very early in its life; but luckily I noticed it was making a noise that wasn't quite right and I found out what was wrong. Since then I have used the supermarket generic paper bags for electrolux uprights; and they work much better. The suction on this vacuum ... ...and I have tried quite a few; its consistent and lasts right until the bag is completely full. It made the carpets look like new and will even suck up dried sticky messes on the laminate flooring.
The only really big con is the hose is not that long; there is a higher 'stairmaster' model that has a much longer hose but the hose on this model is shorter than average; its a bit ridiculous really and it wouldn't have hurt to have made it average length. ...
