Advantages: Cheap, great suction Disadvantages: Feels cheap !
I own at least 4 vacuum cleaners. All of which I have bought to replace the others which are rubbish at vacuuming my one small area of rug in the living room, which accumulate all the dog(1) and cat(2) hairs from the rest of the hard floors in my house.
I was on the verge of spending £160 on a well researched cleaner when this one was offered on my local freecycle group. It was nearly new, had only been bought and used while their stalwart was in ... ...it. What could I lose??!!
In a word nothing, it knocks spots off the plethora of other vacuum cleaners I own. It sucks those damn hairs off the rug with very little effort and even less time. It comes with 2 filters so I can still clean while letting one filter dry after washing. Advantages: Small and easy to store Disadvantages: Works for about a week then the filters clog and there is no suction
I am having exactly the same problems as everyone else reviewing this cleaner (although thats a joke in itself I am better off getting down on my hands an knees to pick up the dirt from the carpet - it won't even pick a feather off the floor). Like other consumers I was very impressed with the hoover for about a week and then it lost all its suction. I am now having to empty the bin every room I clean - thankfully I only live in a one bedroom flat. ... ...outside of the bin keep getting blocked. Again I bought this hoover because it was the best on offer at Sainsbury's at the time and have regretted that decision ever since. I will definately use review websites like this one to make my next hoover purchase - please don't be fooled cheapest isn't best and a good saving could end up costing you more in the end.
