Review of VAX 6131
Advantages: easy storage, good suction, long lead Disadvantages: expensive to buy
Henry well all I can say is he is treated like part of the family he is trust worthy and reliable and he helps me look after the children brilliantly. I have had countless vacuumes that have ended blowing up in smoke or just not sucking up the bits out of my carpet. Having 3 children running around with cake, buscuits and any other consumable component that crumbles when you bite into it is a challenge to keep the flat in a clean and orderly manner, ... ...youngest of my children will be picking it up and trying to eat it. Then came along henry the suction is excellent and the added bonus is that I can plug it into the one room and the lead will stretch out to every room in my flat. My children can also work henry and do a very good job of cleaning up after themselves. The bags for the henry are big so it takes a while before you have to change them which is cost effective. It is also a great space ...
Advantages: Energy saving mode, low noise, very powerful suction, easy to use and move, well designed Disadvantages: None
Recently picked up our Hetty hoover as the bagless upright hoover we had was too heavy for my wife meaning that the hoovering was only done once a week due to my working hours.
Upon purchasing the hoover we opened up the box and got everything setup so we were ready to go and took a quick read to see if anything we needed to know and were impressed with what we read - made in the UK, energy saving set as standard usage for this vacuum but we realised ... ...so we plugged this in (as silly as it sounds even the cable was well designed as it has a handle on the top so you can wind the cable back in quickly and easily) and flicked the switch to find a pleasant surprise in how quiet the hoover was on its energy saving standard setting. I flicked the switch to test the high power setting and although the noise went up in volume the carpet also came up as this is truly so much suction power (live in rented ...

Advantages: Light, efficient, quiet and most of all reliable Disadvantages: None
Some time ago I bought a very old ex-industrial Henry (from a professional cleaning firm) for use at my business premises. Although tatty on the outside, this machine impressed me enough to ensure that I bought a Henry for my domestic use. The Which report on reliability reinforced this decision as it was one of the most reliable cleaners in their tests.
Even my husband likes using Henry - although I am a bit worried as he does ay "Come along Henry" ... ...cannot praise these cleaners enough being light to pull around, efficient, quiet (as vacuums go) and do not seem to lose suction even if the very large bag is getting full. Being fairly compact they are easy to store and the smiley face does seem to encourage the friendly feeling that Henry is your friend helping with the chores. The design seems quite simple eg. you wind in the cable with a handle which means there is less to go wrong. I suspect ...
