Advantages: Quick, Easy, Quiet Disadvantages: None that I can think of
Having had a bad experience with a recent purchase of a rechargeable carpet sweeper, I was a tad reluctant to try another. The previous one, (of an different make), made more noise than a threshing machine. I digress. This one, from Home-Tek, is a huge improvement on the other brand, light, quiet and easy to use, it actually picks things up, rather than flinging them from one side of the room to the other.
After a good charge, of at least 16 hours, ... ...use at any one time. More than enough for all but the largest of mansions.
Easy to put together, much like the other models in the range, three parts to the handle and you are ready to go. It has an easy grip handle, a foot operated on / off switch and an easy to remove dust tray. This model has the single brush roller, with nylon bristles, for longer life. It travels easliy from long pile carpets, to hard floor areas and so far I am very pleased ...

...wasnt going to purchase the dyson due the price but it was recommended to me by a member of my family and im so glad they did, not like the other vacuums that let you down after a few weeks or get blocked 8-) well done Dyson. ...and possibly overated, where as VAX MUCH MORE ADFFORDABLE often these machines are cheaper from VAX shop online, But for me 5.11 and partly disabled male with lower back damage this to date only surpasses their other models with the Size as even short time was very uncomfortable for me i could not believe the Weight of this tremendous machine and so easy to use in my opinion assembly easy peasy, i still cannot get over the size of this macine and ... ...the rest still working having been passed on to relatives friends.
The user guide in respect of pre- motor filter and diagram gives the impression of removing the filter itself from top and i cant as whole orange inner cyclone comes with it, however i will check with Vax ...

I recently purchased the Vax Mach Air as it was reduced from £180 to £129 to replace my existing Vax Cleaner First Impressions were surprise that the unit could be so light and still clean as well as it does.
The suction is extremely powerful and makes shortwork of cleaning up our dog Murphy's hair.
The Mach Air cleans up the hair tumbleweeds that appear daily on our laminte flooring, and gets rid of the hair from the carpets and the deep pile ... ...Air is so light and manouverable it makes cleaning easy and less of a chore. From switching on and tilting the handle back to start the brushes the Mach Air powers through all our floor cleaning, quickly and effectively.
