fantastic suction, excellent cleaning, fairly easy to empty and clean filters, gets under low tables, sofas etc..
BUT.. it becomes blocked easily. The bend in the pipe means that things get easily stuck in it, small items that it will pick up.
We have also had to rewire it twice because the brushes stoppped going round, due the the wire breaking, because of the bend from the wire to the motor next to the brushes.

...I decided to choose the bosch and im glad I did. The 2400W power is great at picking up, well... everything. We have a new rug that malts everywhere, but a quick glide along and its all gone. The power can be easily altered by simply moving a little knob left or right, very easy.
The retractable tube is also great for storage, especially if you are a new home buyer like me. The Vacuum is also very small in itself considering it has a very large ... ...the main body which can be easily accessed, although a few times the flap has come open and they have fallen out, a little annoying.
I do however like the design of the bosch, it looks neat and tidy with its black polished look and isnt at all 'In your face' like most Dyson's.
The bag is easy to replace, simply lift the lid, lift out the bag and replace, the bags are about £1 each, so it wont burst your bank. Although over the life of the vacuum ...

In my opimnion, the Vax Mach Air is one of the best vacuum cleaners around. It is durable, lightweight and very easy to carry around the house. Then came the hunt to find the best price or deal, having not spent any money for while since having a baby I thought that ... ...a bit suspicious so emailed Miele customer services to query whether there was a difference. They replied extremely quickly to say that the Argos model would just come with the standard floorhead and not the turbo brush and parquet floorhead - well, I'm not spending nearly £200 for a vacuum and not getting a turbo brush! I reluctantly went with Co-op to buy the vacuum as I have a members card and whilst its not specific about what reward you get ...

Advantages: much lighter than earlier models and quieter also no loss suction as standard Disadvantages: not enough on board storage for all tools but not big issue
...gets repaired or replaced by vax as height adjustment carriage broke 6 year guarantee you say.
Okay much larger version a giant comp[ared to last ,Big plus longer cable and hose as has extension hose also which is retractable bonus also you can choose to have brush rotating or not, a great idea is the power is the turbo tool like a mini brush for upholstery also the much required extension tubes last model didnt have , on first use of hard floor ... ...newest AIR MODEL and also carpet cleaners but find these rather on the expensive side for a single home however who knows.
Well done VAX again i was also lucky to get thison special offer a feeling my sister will regret the swap when i finally get for good. ...
