nice concept, shame about the reality
Advantages: dyson bagless 'concept' is fantastic Disadvantages: overly complicated design and peripheries - doesn't do what it says on the tin
The bagless concept by Dyson is fantastic the concept works - it cleans, maintains suction, and there are no bags cannot fault it. however, never in the field of human endeavour has something been so over-designed to the detriment of function. each small design feature, piece of plastic, notch and cover no doubt works well. When you put the whole package together, it fails dismally. The brush heads both clog with animal hair very quickly, and the ... ...this is the animal model) other brands have successful brush heads that do not clog. This is a distinct over-sight in an animal branded product. less time on fancy colours, more time on getting the thing to work. all the suction in the world does not help when the brush will not rotate! I have had this product for 3 years - and it has not been fun! II am buying a SEBO Felix Pet - read reviews on that soon! ...

Great compact hoover, excellent suction
Advantages: Easy to store, great suction Disadvantages: none
When my last Dyson Hoover died on me after 15 years as it has lasted so well I felt that it had to be a Dyson again. They are definitely worth the expense. I chose the Dyson DC23 because we wanted something more compact than the upright Dyson that we had previously. This model is very compact and the hose and wand winds around the base very well and easily. The power cable pulls out of the base and automatically rewinds on the press of a button. ... ...seem to do. The Dyson Hoover sucks up alot of stuff that other Hoovers leave behind. Once you have used a dyson, you will never use anything else. A Dyson Hoover is a good investment. Even though it is expensive, it pays for itself over and over as it last a lot longer than other Hoovers and requires no bags or replacement filters. The filter on this Dyson needs washing occasionally. In the instructions it recommends every 3 months. ...

Hetty hoover - the smile tells you all
Advantages: Energy saving mode, low noise, very powerful suction, easy to use and move, well designed Disadvantages: None
Recently picked up our Hetty hoover as the bagless upright hoover we had was too heavy for my wife meaning that the hoovering was only done once a week due to my working hours.
Upon purchasing the hoover we opened up the box and got everything setup so we were ready to go and took a quick read to see if anything we needed to know and were impressed with what we read - made in the UK, energy saving set as standard usage for this vacuum but we realised ... ...so we plugged this in (as silly as it sounds even the cable was well designed as it has a handle on the top so you can wind the cable back in quickly and easily) and flicked the switch to find a pleasant surprise in how quiet the hoover was on its energy saving standard setting. I flicked the switch to test the high power setting and although the noise went up in volume the carpet also came up as this is truly so much suction power (live in rented ...

Not clean with out DYSON DC22
Advantages: Tremendoous cleaning power, allergy suffers brilliant Disadvantages: None
...We owe alot to James Dyson the founder of these beautifully engineered machines. This guy has developed products worth over £3bn dollars.
Whenever I thought of Dyson vacuum cleaners 10years ago, I used to think, fancy colours, pricey and a good reputation. Nothings changed then and hence 10 years on I will review the DC22 Allergy.
The first thing you notice about this little machine is how little it actually is. You wonder how the technology actually ... ...relatively large rooms. The Dyson made vacuuming them look like a professional job. The VAX would have serious problems, and still wouldnt be clean.
The thing about this machine is how clean your carpets become, and makes you realise how dirty they were. Earlier, the day it arrived, my wife had already vacuumed the whole house. When it arrived by delivery, we vacuumed the whole again, what a difference. I mean it was clean before but after, wow! ...

Miele - Personally I think they are better than Dysons.
Advantages: Last for years, great suction Disadvantages: Colours vary, not all models have a variety of colours
If you are not into DYSONS then this is in my opinion the next best thing if not even better. The quality of all Mieles are incredible. They last for years (my mum has a very old model from eight years ago, and it still works as well as it did on the first day). DONT BE PUT OFF ABOUT THE BAGS, they are widely avaliable and last for a while, depending on the size of the house and dust on the floors.
This model has a great amount of power that is ...
