This is the best hoover i've had in the last 4 years!
Advantages: It light and has an extendable pole
Disadvantages: no brush on the floor tool

The Vax for Pet Owners
Advantages: Great as wet & dry vacuum
Disadvantages: No 100% good at picking up dog hair i found
