I own at least 4 vacuum cleaners. All of which I have bought to replace the others which are rubbish at vacuuming my one small area of rug in the living room, which accumulate all the dog(1) and cat(2) hairs from the rest of the hard floors in my house. ...it. What could I lose??!! In a word nothing, it knocks spots off the plethora of other vacuum cleaners I own. It sucks those damn hairs off the rug with very little effort and even less time. It comes with 2 filters so I can still clean while letting one filter dry after washing. Disadvantages: No issues found.

If your budget is £40, this model is worth serious consideration. 1800W power makes a big difference from the bargain basement cleaners on the market. Advantages: value for money, looks, easy and clean waste & filter removal
Disadvantages: a bit noisy

Bought for its value for money for a bagless hoover compared to others such as Dyson which are more than twice the price. My wife was after a hoover she could lift upstairs and compared to about 10 others in store this was least bulky and lighter. I like the ease of viewing and emptying the waste container which is of a good size.
