good power Advantages: thorough vacuuming Disadvantages: doesn't put cleaning agents through your carpet I bought my grandfather a Goblin Aqua Vac 1100w wet and dry "cleaner", and I use it every day. Although this vac will not CLEAN your carpet it can be used to vacuum up spills and unblock drains etc if you remove the paper filter inside. I have used it on spills and picking up foam cleaner from the carpet, and it works fine. I have been told that these filters do not need changing for years, so that is good news for keeping down the upkeep! There ... ...I bought this model in Argos and was amazed that there was more than £10 off the catalogue price, even though it wasn't promoted. I think this is because the manufacturers have changed the whole look of the machine, and were wanting to get all the older ones sold! Good news for me then. Little Green Goblin bites the dust Advantages: Small, zippy, moderately priced, long shelf life Disadvantages: Bits break off ...going to write about a Goblin vacuum cleaner model which is not precisely the same model as this one listed, and you can rate me off if you want, but why don't you hear me out first? Goblin is a well known line of hoovers, and they produce little ones that are useful for zipping around flats or appartments. I bought mine in 1995, and it has only just packed up. Why I recommend the Goblin 70303 Advantages: Has a first class turbo head brush that picks up pet hairs Disadvantages: Uses paper dust bags If you are looking for a good quality vaccum cleaner at a reasonable price that is capable of picking up pet hairs.,then I think this is the vaccum cleaner for you. It comes with a turbo brush head which is first rate as well as the more typical head you would expect with a cylinder vac and other nozzles such as an upholstery nozzle and a crevice tool. I found the turbo head excellent and once i have vaccumed you would not know my ginger persian ... ...hair remain. For any fibres that get trapped in the turbo brush head they can in the main be removed by pulling or cutting them. However for a more through clean of the turbo head it would be necessary to remove the head using a screwdriver. Since I bought the vaccum several of my friends have asked me how I managed to get rid of the pet hairs and have decided to buy it for themselves. Mach Air vacuum cleaner - an excellent innovation from Vax Advantages: Lightweight, easy to manouvre under tight spaces Disadvantages: None, to date. In my opimnion, the Vax Mach Air is one of the best vacuum cleaners around. It is durable, lightweight and very easy to carry around the house. The suction is excellent, and since I started using it I have not experienced any clogging or items being caught in the machine. The Mach Air is safe and very easy to clean. I have also used the machine to clean crumbs off sofas, under sofa cushions using the handle cum extension. Miele S5281: Don't make a Miele of the housework Advantages: Specialist cleaning, well made and reliable Disadvantages: None ...credit card) my beautiful new Miele vacuum having heard rave reviews about them from friends. I checked the which guide and other review sites and found that they were rated very highly which confirmed my choice of make and that just left the model to choose. I decided on the S5281 as it seemed a good, powerful, all-rounder. Then came the hunt to find the best price or deal, having not spent any money for while since having a baby I thought that ... ...a bit suspicious so emailed Miele customer services to query whether there was a difference. They replied extremely quickly to say that the Argos model would just come with the standard floorhead and not the turbo brush and parquet floorhead - well, I'm not spending nearly £200 for a vacuum and not getting a turbo brush!
