GtechSwo2 for Cleaning thats less of a chore! Advantages: Lightweight, rechargeable and easy to empty. Disadvantages: Battery life of a couple of years seems a bit poor. My mother bought me this little sweeper as she has always been pleased with hers. I have trouble carrying a heavy vacuum up and down stairs so this is really handy for those quick whiz round cleans inbetween struggling with the big vac. this is a rechargeable model, I am not sure how long it takes to reach full charge as i tend to plug it in when I have finished what i am doing and then unplug when I remember. On a full charge it is supposed to clean ... ...so it always managed my hall,lounge,study,dining room and stairs and landing with no problem. The sweeper is not very noisy either, the children don't grumble too much if I am trying to clean and they are watching telly! The sweeper is exceptionally light and so very easy to manouevre. No cords - FANTASTIC!! Advantages: Ease of use and convenience Disadvantages: That they don't do buy one get one free! I love this hoover and what it does. It's so convenient when you have light crumbs/dust/or even spilt kitty litter! perfect for carpets or rugs. the fact that you don't have to bother with pulling out the bulky vaccum and plugging it in just does it for me. the detatched part which can turn into a mini vac much like a car vaccum is very handy for getting in those corners even though the hoover as a whole does corners very well. Sebo Felix 1 Premium Advantages: Ease of use Disadvantages: Bags fill quick After struggling with 2 Dyson uprights over the last 10 years we decided to change manufacturer. After asking around the most efficient & long lasting brand was Sebo. We pruchased this model and WOW ans I wouldn't be without it!. It has a variable power setting and comes with a hard floor head (which you oif you have parquet flooring as the main head is automatic. The upholstery brush is fantastic on pet hair. Great little sucker! Advantages: Light, manoeuvrable, easy to use, always ready and can go anywhere as it is cordless Disadvantages: Won't stand up on its own. I have been a Dyson fan for years but even the lightest one is now too heavy for me, as I suffer from back trouble. I keep one for doing the big, less frequent jobs and my husband can help with those, but I wanted a small, light cleaner for running round frequently, picking up crumbs and fluff. The Unirapido is brilliant. It was ready after 16 hours of charging and now trickle charges so it is ready whenever I need it. it is light and very manoeuvrable, ... ...makes up for its not having any tools. It will work on any floor surface, including carpet and is quite powerful enough for minor everyday cleaning. I use it now instead of a broom. It can be used one handed and moves easily. I can recommend this to anyone who wants a light cleaner to use regularly, though you would need a more powerful one for larger messes.
