Very poor experience with this product. The machine was delivered from an online retailer and looked very nice and shiney out of the box. The suction power was good, but then at 1800 watts one would expect that.
The thing that I really liked was the length of the hose. It was so easy getting to those normally hard to get at corners and it was great for cleaning the stairs. Not only that, but the simplicity of one one switch and out the hose came, ... ...was not rosey in the household for very long. Within weeks the plastic clip for one of the accessories broke. The machine itself was noisey and this began to irritate. It was quite heavy and both my wife and son found it awkward carrying it upstairs.
The spring clip that locked it into the upright position started to make a terrible noise when the cleaner was changed from upright to push mode.
The cleaner than began to cut out after 10 minutes ...

...what i thought. This hoover product is called the hurricane HU44207/1 we were 89.99 from comet which i thought was very good value for money. This hoover is muti settings for different floors the one i like is called intensive carpet clean this worked a treat oin the carpet i though ti hoovered everday as have 2 young kids we had to hoover the livingroom carpet 3 times and the amount of muck and dust that come off the carpet was unbelieveable just ... ...The weight on the hoover is 6.6KG which is good has a good weight to it but i have back problems and manage to hoover with this no problems on the intensive care carpet setting is very hard to push but with what come out of my carpet will just use this setting maybe once a week and then on the other setting for the rest of the week well worth it if it does clean proberly. This cleaner also has metal tubes so wont break when you push too hard on the ...

...wasnt going to purchase the dyson due the price but it was recommended to me by a member of my family and im so glad they did, not like the other vacuums that let you down after a few weeks or get blocked 8-) well done Dyson. I'v had a few hoover's in last few years but this one has lasted the longest. its that good i bought my mother one and they still both work today!! ...and possibly overated, where as VAX MUCH MORE ADFFORDABLE often these machines are cheaper from VAX shop online, But for me 5.11 and partly disabled male with lower back damage this to date only surpasses their other models with the Size as even short time was very uncomfortable for me i could not believe the Weight of this tremendous machine and so easy to use in my opinion assembly easy peasy, i still cannot get over the size of this macine and ... ...the rest still working having been passed on to relatives friends.
The user guide in respect of pre- motor filter and diagram gives the impression of removing the filter itself from top and i cant as whole orange inner cyclone comes with it, however i will check with Vax ...
