BUILD QUALITY
As I have only had this cleaner for a month, I can't comment on the longevity of this machine, but I believe if you look after it, keep the filters clean and don't try and get it to do something it's not designed to do, it should last a few years. ...The spiral air flow that Hoover have designed does not let the carpet fluff etc settle and it accumulates around the filter. A service engineer has been to see the problem and says that he has no answer but suggested that we convert it to a dust bag type.The Wife does not want a bag type, so this option is no good.

this hoover is ok, it fills up far too quickly though, i empty every time i use it (everyday) and with my last hoover i emptied just once every 3times i used it. it is also rather difficult to get the hoover upright and down to use it, the little step that you use is stiff, mine actually broke after 3 months of use!! the customer service is good though. but for picking up dirt it is excellent. i just think there are too many problems with it in other ...

Advantages: Long hose and excellent attachments Disadvantages: Overheats and cuts out a little too easily.
...with this as when the hoover was in full working order I had no complaints whatsoever. The attachments are great for my house(lots of little corners), the hose is an excellent length, can get the dust off the ceiling and it stretched all the way up the stairs, it's easy to use and move about. All in all, providing there's no technical hitches, a good hoover.
