The Vacuum that refuses to clean
Review of Kenwood VC 6200 by
David515
Advantages: It's shiny and Red
Disadvantages: As much use as a Chocolate Tea pot
This Kenwood vacuum looks splendid, is relatively high powered and is bagless which of course means more suck.
Apart from the fact that it can't stay on its wheels it only has one real design flaw.
It doesn't really get on with dust.
The filters block, the suction is lost and the finer particles of dust simply fly out of the back.
I have persevered with this machine. After spending the last hour dragging the thing around the upstairs of my home, ... ...up for the lack of suction, I turned the thing off and good portion of what I sucked up, spilled out.
Frustrated? Annoyed? No more like bemused. Kenwood have a good reputation, I have a vacuum that sucks really well as long as I don't want it to clean! ...

Not recommended
Review of Kenwood VC 6000 by
Emily18
Advantages: Does vacuum well
Disadvantages: Filters difficult to clean and replacements hard to buy
...to find any shop which sells spare filters so I have to order them from a website related to the Kenwood website. Every order I have placed has taken a long time to arrive because they were out of stock.
All in all I would not recommend this product ...

Cheap and cheerful is a pain
Review of Kenwood VC5000 by
hondapants3
Advantages: small compact
Disadvantages: low power, smallbag, build quality
Kenwood in my mind drums up images of good quality. This quality did come at a price. So when we saw this small vacuum cleaner at an offer price of £24.99 I thought we were onto a winner. How wrong we were!
Even though the unit boasts a 1400watt motor the effectiveness of it doesn't reflect the power which was a real disappointment. Within 6 weeks or use the end of the hose started to drop off, which was highly irritating as most of the time it ... ...you had to go through kenwood to get them which was around £8. This made me think that by the time i had to replace the filters it would be perhaps cheaper to replace the whole vacuum cleaner. So on the face of it buying this did seem cheap but it has had it after 4-5months use. what a waste!!! ...

GETS THE JOB DONE!
Review of Russell Hobbs 13760 Cyclonic Cylinder by
clairerodney
Advantages: COMPACT/NEAT, ADJUSTABLE SETTINGS/HANDLE, NICE PRICE!
Disadvantages: VERY, VERY NOISY!!!
I have only had this a few days and reading the reviews after buying it i was somewhat apprehensive and a little disheartened...i decided to try it out anyway! 1st time i used it i loved it! It had a powerful suction (though somewhat noisy) and did a great job on some cornflakes which my son had dropped on the rug. Bearing in mind i only have 2 carpets and a rug and the rest is wood or vinyl flooring, i find it effective for this job, though it may ... ...£40 i cannot complain...for £40 you cannot go wrong with this, i have seen better i have seen far worse and i have paid double for hoovers that had half the performance before now. It is easy to pull around and if you pull the lead all the way out BEFORE you begin and not during hoovering then the tight cord isn't an issue at all, i can live with it. The compact design and handle on top makes it easy to move around and store and it looks really neat ...

Review for Dyson DC07 Tool Kit Model
Review of Dyson DC07 Toolkit by
starbabe30586
Advantages: Extensive tools, strong suction, easy to use
Disadvantages: n/a
This is my first Dyson and I love it. It has very strong suction and leaves my carpets nearly new every time i use it. It came with 5 year guarantee and lots of tools/brushes to use on different surfaces such as a soft bristled brush and hard bristled brush and one for the stairs. Its fairly lightweight and easy to use and looks great to. I love the fact its bagless as well which is much easier. Its easy to empty and easy to assemble when you first ...
