Advantages: Last for years, great suction Disadvantages: Colours vary, not all models have a variety of colours
If you are not into DYSONS then this is in my opinion the next best thing if not even better. The quality of all Mieles are incredible. They last for years (my mum has a very old model from eight years ago, and it still works as well as it did on the first day). DONT BE PUT OFF ABOUT THE BAGS, they are widely avaliable and last for a while, depending on the size of the house and dust on the floors.

Advantages: Powerful..Easyand light to use . Worth every penny for the easy housework ! Disadvantages: The Miele hoover bags i think are a little on the expensive side ..
I have owned my Miele cat & dog hoover now for 3 weeks . I have run my own house now for 30 years and have owned a few hoovers in that time and have cursed and sworn and each and every one of them ! One was way to heavy and bulky to use on the stairs ( upright Hoover ), another could'nt even suck the fluff off the carpet ( vax hoover ) . I have even owned a Dyson , which i paid good money for and it worked brilliantly for the first few months , then ... ...Then my daughter bought a Miele cat and dog hoover because she has 5 dogs and cat . I watched with an open mouth and this little light weight red hoover ran across her living room carpet and left a completely clean stripe behind it ! I had to get me one of those ! I went the next day to Argos and bought one for £195 .
I have 3 long haired cats which shed hair all over my navy blue carpet and any cat owner can tell you that cat hair sticks like glue ...

...We decided to buy a Miele cylinder vacuum cleaner because we have two small children who crawl all over the house so a reliable and long lasting vacuum cleaner was needed. My elder son is afraid of the vacuum cleaner's noise but not of this one's noise. It is quiet but sucks everything very well.
