I bought one of these 2 years ago after carefully reviewing via 'Which' - it has a 'best buy' rating. It has been the single worst purchase I have ever made. The cleaning performance is adequate but the real beauty (?) of this cleaner is the extreme work out you get when using it. It is very very awkward to manoeuvre and incredibly heavy in use fit only for body builders. The tools are flimsy and the bags are almost impossible to source. I have a ... ...tool section lid that will not close and is held together with tape after 18 months. Despite many emails to Nilfisk, I am still awaiting even acknowledgement let alone reply/action - in real terms the 5 year parts guarantee is meaningless. I am a consumer - nothing more - buy one of these at your peril, a complete waste of money. ...

In my opimnion, the Vax Mach Air is one of the best vacuum cleaners around. It is durable, lightweight and very easy to carry around the house. The suction is excellent, and since I started using it I have not experienced any clogging or items being caught in the machine. The Mach Air is safe and very easy to clean. I checked the which guide and other review sites and found that they were rated very highly which confirmed my choice of make and that just left the model to choose. I decided on the S5281 as it seemed a good, powerful, all-rounder. Then came the hunt to find the best price or deal, having not spent any money for while since having a baby I thought that ... ...a bit suspicious so emailed Miele customer services to query whether there was a difference. They replied extremely quickly to say that the Argos model would just come with the standard floorhead and not the turbo brush and parquet floorhead - well, I'm not spending nearly £200 for a vacuum and not getting a turbo brush! I reluctantly went with Co-op to buy the vacuum as I have a members card and whilst its not specific about what reward you get ...

Advantages: much lighter than earlier models and quieter also no loss suction as standard Disadvantages: not enough on board storage for all tools but not big issue
...gets repaired or replaced by vax as height adjustment carriage broke 6 year guarantee you say.
Okay much larger version a giant comp[ared to last ,Big plus longer cable and hose as has extension hose also which is retractable bonus also you can choose to have brush rotating or not, a great idea is the power is the turbo tool like a mini brush for upholstery also the much required extension tubes last model didnt have , on first use of hard floor ... ...newest AIR MODEL and also carpet cleaners but find these rather on the expensive side for a single home however who knows.
Well done VAX again i was also lucky to get thison special offer a feeling my sister will regret the swap when i finally get for good. ...

Best vacuum cleaner ever!!!
I recently got a kitten and my old hoover was about 10 years old and didn't seem to be doing it's job properly. Luckily my parents gave me this one as they knew my old Hoover was on it's way out. I was so surprised at how much dirt etc it collected on the first go. I hadn't realised what was left on my carpet from my old hoover!!!! The accessories are all on board and easy to attach. The main bonus with this model I have ... ...hoover all the downstairs rooms in one go without having to unplug it at every room, and even go up the stairs with the handy attachment. The best thing i can so about this hoover is the easiness of use and also emptying it is easy!!!! Not the most lightweight on the market but the best all round hoover you can buy ...
