Suction? No - DYSON SUCTION!
Review of Dyson DC 20 Animal PRO by kia_picanto

Advantages: One of the best in the market, whether you have pets or not.
Disadvantages: Two tools are not carried on the machine.

...I used to have a dyson DC04 Absolute, which served me very well in my old house. My old house had mainly carpets so it really did the job well and the 230 air watts were very impressive for its generation and kept the cleaner sucking for a good 8 years until I gave it away to a friend yesterday. The reason it got given away was because in my new house I've only got hard floors and rugs (apart from when I get a new stair carpet in the future). The ...
...apart from my getting the dyson out once in a while to give the rugs a good clean. But ever since I have been saving up for a dyson DC20, and it arrived today from www.duck.co.uk and I've not been let down in the slightest. The new Root Cyclone technology it really great. With the old Dual Cyclone technology, you could tell that a lot of fint dust was getting pulled out of the airflow with the single, large inner cyclone, but the pre-motor filter ... Read review

Nothing else compares
Review of Dyson DC19 by ugm6hr

Advantages: Brilliant design, Excellent suction, Well-built
Disadvantages: If I have to list one... No Turbine Head tool included

This is my second Dyson vacuum, which says a lot in itself! I have owned an alternative "bagless cyclone" vacuum, but found that none compare to the suction power of a Dyson. Just like they say on their advert, if you want something like a Dyson, get a Dyson. It certainly costs more than most vacuums, but the 5-year warranty included probably makes it worthwhile (in addition to the tremendous suction power). The good quality design continues to ...
...so will slide under almost any furniture that has a 2-inch ground clearance. Other furniture tools are standard fare, and now attach to the vacuum body (rather than as previously on the hose). The tube extends easily, without needing to be separated into 2 sections like most cylinder vacuums, which is a nice touch; it also has a sturdier feel to it than most modern equivalents. One thing I would like to see included is the Turbine Head (which is ... Read review

Dyson DC 20 Allergy
Review of Dyson DC 20 Allergy by killerpete50

Advantages: Deep cleaning, Allergy protection, compact, easy to use, bagless
Disadvantages: initial cost, but well worth the money

...The bonus with the Dyson is that it does not take bags, so there is a saving already, and also has a HEPA filter, suitable for allergy sufferers, well I thought this would be as needed, so I got one, and to be honest, the carpets had never looked so clean, when we moved in we had an old stand up vacuum cleaner, and it wasnt the best in the world, but it kept the visable dirt away, whereas this Dyson was better than that, the deep ground dirt and ...
...well as feeling cleaner. The first main test was when my sistes came round, they did as I had asked, and gave me a decent warning, so I had time to have the cats being babysat, and a proper clean round, and it worked, admittedly they are not the most allergy sensative, but they usually would feel the signs if there was an animal kept, but they were fine, and it was not even mentioned! I am a very happy owner and have not had any problems at all ... Read review
