Vaillant have been in business of manufacturing first class gas appliances for years. They are renowned for making high quality heating systems that range in price from a few hundred to a few thousand pounds. I own a Vaillant eco tec pro Combi boiler that both provides my central heating and hot water for domestic purposes. I have come in contact with Vaillant products the world over. The Eco Tec Pro review: With compact dimensions (H: 720mm x W: 440mm x D: 335mm) the ecoTEC pro 28 is one of the lightest boilers in their class (37.5kg) and is SEDBUK Band \'A\' rated. The ecoTEC pro 28 has a CH ... more

When my husband was a gas engineer, he used to do what were known as foreigners. This didn't mean he beat up immigrants, it meant taking on jobs outside of normal work. I think other expressions for it is are on the side (but I don't like that one!), or thumbers. Him and a chum would fit central heating for people. They only had one hard and fast rule - the only make of boiler they would fit was Vaillant. (Everyone pronounces this VALIANT, but it is pronounced VAY-LANT - sorry, that's just me being pedantic). The reason for this? Vaillant were the only boilers that they could rely on not to ... more

So about 3 and a half years ago my Biasi combi was only a year old and had been repaired five times the five times it was repaired the following was replaced: P.C.B twice Heat exchanger Fan Igniter. Then I decided it was time for a replacement,I initially was going to go for a Worcester but then a plumber told me Vaillant was a safer choice. Why was Vaillant a safer choice? It had a stainless steel heat exchanger, this is always better in condensing boilers as the condensate produced in a condensing boiler can corrode away a copper or Alluminium heat exchanger. Although the heat exchanger in ... more

Advantages Advantages It's not gone kaboom yet.

Disadvantages Disadvantages It's threatend to go kaboom many times... and today is Christmas! The bugger!

I seem to have a problem with gas. Ha-ha! Very funny. Not in the bake-bean way. No. Having had a host of problems at work with annoying heating problems through the month I was none to pleased to hear our Vaillant acting up again. Okay, so here’s the unit’s history. We had it installed when we moved into the house, what, ten years ago. It was fine. It was wonderful. It’s a big, old house but this boiler kept even the top most rooms warm. There was no problem with the heater for years. What is the life expectancy of a central heating boiler? One year? Five years? Ten years? A life time? Well ... more

What is fault F75 that reoccurs on boiler start up

Fault F75 shows on the LED when the boiler will not start. The maintenance service contractor has no knowledge of fault F75. The fault can only be rectified by reseting and toppiny up the water in the system, this in turn overpressurises this system which is indicated by the needle on the pressure gauge indicating in the red zone. Also the LED flashes operating at 2.9 - 3.0 bar
