The Packaging....
Well I own the 90ml Rock 'n' Rose Eau De Parfum. It's a round, clear glass bottle with elegant black writing on the front that simply says Rock 'n' Rose and that it's by Valentino in a kind of scribble style of writing. Pinkish liquid you can see through the bottle. It has a silver push down sprayer and over the top a jewel shaped black shaped lid pushes over the top. Mine is quite a large bottle so quite heavy and not suitable to take out on a night up for a freshen up but then I wouldn't want to cos I'm a clumsy clot and I'd break it anyway! Saying that it isn't a delicate bottle and fits in with the name of the fragrance really. It came in a rather attractive large pink and black box. It really is a nice box! Black and pink, you cant go wrong!

Top notes of bergamot, black currant, and crunch green.
Middle notes of orange blossom, gardenia, muguet, and rose.
Base notes of sandalwood, orris, musky notes, vanilla, and heliotrope.
To my nasal passages....Absolutely delicious! It has a sweet musky, vanilla undertone with delicate rose and gardenia sort of peeping out over the top of the fragrance. With this fragrance I can actually smell most of the ingredients listed which makes a pleasant change. It isn't one dimensional in its approach. One minute you'll think it is Rose next you'll pick up the vanilla and it's very deep and layered.
To me I only wear this at night although it isn't in your face intoxicating and I guess you could wear it anytime. It isn't distinctive either. I have worn this and so has my Mum on several occasions and it smells so different on each of us so I haven't had anyone yet say to me are you wear Rock 'n' Rose? I don't think as yet it is that popular with so many fragrances on sale.
It lasts absolutely ages in the bottle. You don't have to drench yourself with it to get any smell, just a few squirts is sufficient but whats more is I used this when I went out for dinner on New Years Eve and then on to a party and then stayed at bfs and following morning my clothes smelt of it still and so did I . Next afternoon I went for meal with bf and obviously Id had a shower and got changed and that and he picked me up wearing the same jumper he'd worn that night and I made him go home get changed as he smelt of my perfume big time lol
Basically this is as it says a very modern take on perfume. It's incorporated older fragrances such as Rose and turned them into something very unusual, smooth, rich but not not in your face!
It's truly beautiful and totally recommended!
I'd say it is a younger fragrance but that said, that doesn't make it any less sophisticated. Adorable!
90ml = £50.00 from Boots is the one I own but I got mine in gift set as it was Christmas and it £65.00.

I would recommend this sexy, warm, enveloping, floral perfume to the sophisticated modern woman who has just a little sense of traditionalism as represented by the rose.
As a footnote I would like to add that prices on the high street are £30 for the 30ml, £40 for the 50ml ... ...have invented a 100ml for the same price. Readily available from the Perfume Shop, Boots and all other reputable outlets. Online I believe the prices vary but on average it is £25 for the 30ml, £35 for the 50 ml and £45 for the 90ml. As a lover of frangrace, Rock'n'Rose is my first choice in the summer months as a perfect floral daytime scent. It is a rose scent which manages to be gentle, refreshing and never overpowering, and is appropriate for almost any occasion. Moreover, despite its rather angular appearance, the sturdy bottle makes it both handbag-friendly and the spray doesn't leave any marks on clothing,
However there are certain drawbacks. It does not have any great ... ...be topped up every couple of hours to stay noticeable. Because of this, a bottle is used up very quickly, making it rather bad value for money - I would recommend buying it around Christmas time or on on offer, when there is money to be saved or extras may be added, such as the body lotion. Most high street stores will combine the two in a gift set, and I bought mine in the Boots post-Christmas sale for £26 (included 50ml bottle and body lotion) ...
