Green hair! What next?

Advantages: Lightweight, good price, energy saving
Disadvantages: None yet

For Christmas this year I asked my husband to buy me a new hairdryer. Well after all he did use my last one to defrost the freezer and blew up the motor. Basically I searched for a dryer found it in the Argos catalogue gave him the details and sent him to buy it. When it comes to hairstyling I have very basic requirements, my hair is cut in a bob shape and needs very little actual styling. However I have very thick hair that retains the water when I wash it so I need a decent hairdryer with a good strong blow. My previous dryer was a 1200w dryer so I was looking for something similar or perhaps a bit stronger. I looked through various Internet sites, read some reviews on Dooyoo and finally settled on a BaByliss Eco Dryer, powerful but yet green. What's different about this dryer? Well basically it claims to be "greener" by giving ...

Review of Babyliss 5137U ECO Dryer

Corioliss neon pro hairdryer saves time and looks good!

Advantages: Powerful, long cord, funky colour, different heat setting, different power settings
Disadvantages: no diffuser

After getting addicted to my Corioliss C2 straighteners when it was time for me to buy a new hairdryer I opted to go for the hair dyrer in matching red lepoard print. I have long hair, and before I got this hairdryer it could take me at least half an hour to dry my hair, but with this hairer it can take as little as 10 minutes. It has different heat setting and 2 different power settings, which are indicated but two little LED light on either side of the dryer. As it dosent come with a diffuser(to create surls easier) the lower power setting allows me to dry my hair without drying it straight. The included nozzle allows it to be easily directed onto hair, which also straightens it a bit too. The long cable is great, especially as my mirror is not right next to a plug socket. It is fairly expensive for a hairdryer, but it is definately ...

Review of Corioliss Neon Pro Salon Professional Hairdryer

Great hair drying for green godesses

Advantages: does what it promises, saves energy, good price
Disadvantages: doesn't have a range of attachments like some dryers do

My old hair dryer finally packed in after many faithful years of service and so I went on a hunt for a new one. I browsed hundreds of hairdryers online, made my choice and hopped on down to boots to go and buy it. Only when I got there, I found the babyliss eco dry sitting there on the shelf and my decision was changed in a split second. The dryer promises great results and claims it can dry your hair as fast as a 2000W dryer whilst using half the energy. Apparently, using this dryer for 10 minutes a day instead of a normal dryer saves enough energy to make 7 cups of tea or 11 slices of toast a day! This hair dryer is presented in minamalist looking brown cardboard packaging. It may not look as nice as some of the super shiny brightly coloured packaging which other hair dryers come with, but it probably didn't use up half as ...
