I ordered some Brother printer cartridges for my Dad in July '09. They arrived reasonably quickly and were put to one side until the old ones ran out. When my Dad came to fit them, we found that they had sent the wrong ones. I sent them back recorded delivery and asked for the postage to be refunded and replacements sent. They sent the replacements but did not refund the postage. I chased them again and they just refunded £1.49 to my bank account ...

I used this company once before 3-4 years ago, and all was OK.
I placed an order again last week, received it yesterday, 25% of the ordered cartridges are missing and the ones that arrived have very short sell by dates.
It is impossible to get through to them on the phone (it's a dead line), I sent an email to customer services which bounced back saying that the recipient does not exist (I got the email address from their website so they basically ...

Five years ago this company was excellent goods were sent quickly and were always what had been ordered. In the last 18 months I have placed several orders with this company and it is now a matter of luck if you get the goods within two weeks or if they send you the items ordered. For my last order for three JetTec and three Canon original cartridges I received two of the correct JetTecs and four other JetTec cartridges. Considering the Canon cartridges ... ...deal. No replies to emails and when I rang the 20p a minute number given nothing is done. There is very little you can do about this; consumer help lines say it is a civil dispute (very cost effective for a £45 order). After not receiving the cartridges I used www.inkcycle.co.uk cheaper and the cartridges arrived in two days. ...

crap ones I Emailed them and the answer I got was that they were just as good,they never offered to send inkrite .I got a refund eventually.

I ordered a Samsung laser printer on Sunday evening and it arrived on Wednesday morning. Using Valueshop's offer of free delivery on this particular product, I expected to receive it towards the end of the stated 5 to 7 day delivery window, or even sometime after. I was particularly pleased, as the ordering process was able to cope adequately with a delivery address different to billing ... ...was particularly good. I don't know why Ciao allows it, but it's pretty obvious the review by ampuk2000 is an advert, not a review. Being totally independent, all I can say is that I'm very pleased. I disliked the apparent lack of a tracking system, but it came quickly anyway. ...
