First is recommended for romantic use and represents the finest in brand name designer perfume, a distinctive highly sensual, really earthy feminine pefume that oozes sexuality, a truly individual perfume that has a character all of its own.
I remember asking a close friend five years ago now what the beautiful perfume was she was wearing, "it is 'first'" she replied "Princes Di uses it, but I discovered it by chance.." Well that was it I was hooked, my favourite scents paled into insignificance, and after much 'hinting' my husband bought me my 'First' for christmas and it is my favourite pefume, streets above anyting else I have used before or have been given.

The fragrance has mainly a scent of fresh notes, with weaker scents of woody and citrus notes, gving this fragrance its 'fresh' characteristic, but this is complimented by its citrus and woody undertones. The dominant part is normally the heart of the fragrance.

The bottle was designed by Jacques Llorente and was based on one of the company's pendant earrings. The eau de toilette comes in two bottle sizes, the taller is the 120ml which is 5 1/2 inches tall, the shorter is the 60ml which is 4 3/4 inches tall. Both are stoppered and have their size and 'Bottle Made In France' moulded into the base. (The 120ml also has the Pochet et du Courval mark)
I have never been able to find this in any duty-free shop but this available in good retail outlets: Bentalls, Selfridges, Harvey Nicholls, etc. Makro do have this at certain times and is cheapest there, but availability is limited.
The eau de toilette 120ml is the region of £40.00 and the smaller about £25. I actually bought my last two bottles at Makro at £13.99 each so I have used the prices that we last paid in the retail outlets.
This perfume comes beautifully packaged in a highly distinctive, very feminine bottle that conceals the best part - a sensual, romantic and individually distincitve scent that people do notice.
Advantages: Very noticeable scent Disadvantages: Not widely available
First perfume is the only perfume I buy more than once. If I buy another perfume, when it is finished, I go onto another fragrance, but First the the first one I have bought more than once.
It is a beautiful scent which a lot of people, both men and women have complimented me on, and it makes me feel special when I wear it.
The only problem is, that I find that I can only buy it in duty free shops or on airplanes! I have seen it on rare occasions ...
