    Disadvantages Disadvantages It's nothing like the movie

    Anybody out there thinking of buying this game, back away now. This game is just a cheap and nasty cash in on the film of the same name. Tere is no need for a game like this to be produced now adays, especially with similar (but far superior) titles like Devil May Cry. So when history looks back on this game it will just be another statistic of all the games that failed to make the transaction from the big screen. Playability : Interesting at first, you are able to both target enemies with projectiles and get in close with melee weapons, but soon becomes repetitive and ultimetly devolves to a ... more

    Advantages Advantages Acceptable combat system, true to the movie.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Linear Storyline, no free roam, can't play as werewolf, only one playable character.

    An average game by all accounts. The game is based on the movie and the major storyline remains to the movie's storyline but with the addons that are neccessary to make a game last long enough to be playable so I cant fault it for that. The combat syatem is also average, the weapons are fairly good but there is little mele and alot of run around and shoot. Also, camera angles can be akward at times. I belive that the game designers missed a major oppertunity near the end of the game by not making the werewolf that Van Helsing eventually becomes playable, which makes the end fight very boring ... more
