Due to my toddler's medical condition, my family and I have found it extremely vital and helpful to follow a non-gluten diet.
Unfortunately, finding gluten free products that actually taste good can be quite a challange.
Therefore, how thrilled was I the other day, when I came across Van's All Natural Homestyle Gluten Free Pancakes!
With a little hesitation, I decided to take these home with me and try them out for the very first time.
My past experiences with gluten free bread products, have often left a bad taste in my mouth. Not this time.
These pancakes are simply delicious! In keeping with their name - homestyle - these wonderful pancakes taste are reminiscent to the homemade pancakes my mother used to make for me by hand.
Free of wheat, diary, egg, and artificial flavors, colors or preservatives, it was the perfect match for my toddler's restrictive diet.
Not only did I like them, both of my toddlers gobbled them down and asked for more!
In addition to their great taste, these pancakes are perfect for the busy, always-on-the-go mom, since they are microwavable.
I have found however, that they have a better texture and taste when you heat them up over the stove (just add a little butter or margarine and wait until they turn a nice golden).
Found in the specialty frozen foods section, and available in a 12.4 oz (352g) box [which contains eight pancakes], Van's All Natural Homestyle Gluten Free Pancakes are very much worth your $4 (2.69 EUR).
