until I started to write this review I had no idea who they were. I searched online and read a few reviews about the company. The company specialise in manufacturing Camera bags, Binoculars, Tripods and Cases for guns to name a few products. The companies customers include major Camera manufacturers.
for a Camera case it is a low priced entry level Camera Case used to hold, store and allow the user to move around with a Camera inside the Pouch. The Camera Case is black coloured throughout. The Case has the Vanguard's logo encased on the closing part of the Pouch. Also the material is polyester
and I suppose that it is good that it is not made from leather as the leather in the summer weather reacts to the heat. This Camera Case also adheres to the international quality standards and as such goes through plenty of research and development and quality control testing.
size of Camera Case
this particular case is for use with small digital Single Lens Reflex Camera's and the measurements; Two and a half x One and three eighth's x four and one eighth, in inches. This is a quite small Camera Case overall. It fits my current camera samsung s860 quite well. Though as in anything of this nature choosing the right size of Camera Case to fit your particular Camera is so important. There is just about enough room to fit the case without getting the Camera itself scratched, or trying to fit too much camera inside a fixed volume.
advantages of this Camera case
user's can combine the storage of the Camera, along with a Battery and other small Camera accessories.There is a zip that can be used to seal the Case. This makes the Camera Case earn some of its money, as it holds the Camera inside and locked nicely indeed. From placing the Camera that I own inside the case, I have done some tests of my own, I threw a glass of Water at the Camera Case and this passed the Water proof test. I also dropped the Camera Case again with the Camera inside it, and the protective layer of the Case absorbed the shock to a good amount. It provides therefore a good amount of padding and protection. In terms of price it is fairly cheap to buy. There is no need I feel to state the obvious in terms of the carrying useage on one's Shoulder, or storage, that is easy and needs no further explanation.
disadvantages of Camera Case
it is a fairly standard looking Case. The volume of the case means that it does not hold large cameras that exceed the volume and size restrictions. The Shoulder Strap attachement to the Case itself, looks very fragile and if walking down the road, a passer by with the intention of personal theft can easily cut the cheap string cords that hold this case together. In using this piece of equipment in a public Place really is dangerous. So from a safety view this is not a useful design. Black is the only colour the company have the Camera Case, so if your wanting a blue or pink colour Case then this is not a good company for you. Products these days are made in china (at least a good size proportion of the global consumer products are). This Camera Case is no exception to this rule. You will not be able to fit an old analogue Camera, or a big bulky Camera inside this product casing.
price and availability
pricewise, the product costs five Pounds and twenty one pence, from www.techstore.co.uk or alternatively eleven Pounds and twenty eight pence from www.amazon.co.uk. So all in all it is not an expensive product. Though by owning a Camera, a Case is certainly a "must have" item to protect it from damage and overall safe keeping. It goes to show that buying outside from amazon saves money, defying some recent reviews of this site.

any problems
sure, I have found the zip is sometimes difficult to open and the case has two white strings that are placed around the zip compartment. I have had times where the case wont open correctly. Getting the Camera out can pose a problem. Therefore the Camera Case's ease of use and reliability is let down a level or two. This part of the Camera in due time will one day in the future lead to the Camera Case being thrown away.
conclusion
in conclusion I feel there are better designed Camera bags out there on the market.
