The regular version is packed full of sugar and other bad things; it rots your teeth and makes you fat, if drunk in excess. The diet version is packed full of sweetener and other bad things, it rots your teeth but it doesn't make you fat.

Advantages: interesting new flavour & it doesn't coat your teeth. Disadvantages: if you don't like cream soda, you won't like this.
...So, my choice being Diet vanilla coke, Milk, or cranberry Juice, I opted for the vanilla coke (well wouldn’t you!). Obviously, seeing as how I can’t have the bath I promised myself, nor can I do washing or water the garden, I’ve had to find something to occupy me, so here I am writing a little to tell you about vanilla coke.
**The Bottle, Price, availability etc.**
Well I buy my coca cola – all varieties – from Tesco in two litre bottles. The price ... ...get a free glass. Vanilla coke is available pretty much everywhere that you would expect to find the regular or lemon varieties, so it’s pretty easy to get hold of if you want it. The vanilla coke bottle has a label very similar to that of the other coke varieties. What distinguishes that this is diet vanilla coke is that it’s lid, and the narrow band at the top and bottom of the label are coloured tan, and beneath the words ‘Diet Coke’ is the word ...

Vanilla Coke/ Diet Vanilla Coke
Any two for the price of one!
I thought, “well that’s a bargain if I ever saw one”, so decide to buy two of the Diet Vanilla Coke Bottles.
HOW DOES IT LOOK?
Well, so far I have only seen this variety of cola in the form of the 500ml bottles. I assume that it must also be available in the 330ml can form as well, because all other brands of cola are. It comes in the usual hourglass ... ...which reminds me of eating vanilla flavoured Chewitts! I do not normally buy Coca-Cola drinks, because we did an experiment at school once, to investigate the effect of Coca-Cola on your teeth. The results where surprising, as the tooth had been decayed to half it’s mass, in just nine days of sitting within the Coca-Cola sample. I have also found that (from my own experience) Original Coca-Cola makes my teeth feel “gritty” afterwards. ...

...and honest impression of Diet Vanilla Coke when it first appeared on shelves a few months ago. I immediately asked Ciao to add a category for the product but for some reason got cold feet about posting my op on Ciao. Now for some devil-may-care madness in me this afternoon I’ve decided what the heck – I hope you enjoy it.
As I was idly wandering back from a lovely Saturday afternoon spending ... ...a 500ml plastic bottle of vanilla coke and one of diet vanilla coke in their freezer. I’d been meaning to try this for ages but just hadn’t seen it in any of the shops. So I parted with £1.50 (yep 75p each) and bought a diet one for me to drink on the way home and a normal one for my husband. I left the shop and went back to my mulling.
Mull, mull, mull.
My mulling had turned into a mulling about how I really should do an op about something I do ...

Advantages: tastes good, nice flavour Disadvantages: might be a bit sweet for some people
Vanilla Coke. It didn’t appeal. It was my opinion that Coke should just stick to being Coke. They’ve got a successful formula so they should stop changing things around just to be gimmicky. It all started with Lemon Coke. They were giving away free samples in Glasgow one day when I tried it for the first time. It left a horrible aftertaste and made me feel sick. I never even drink Coca Cola, and only occasionally drink Diet Coke. So what made me ... ...diet coke, except there’s a vanilla coloured swooshy design across the otherwise silver label. It also, surprisingly, says ‘Diet Coke vanilla’ and it says ‘new’ in the corner. The lid screws on, and is vanilla coloured.
You can see the liquid through the bottle and it is (you’ll never guess), brown. Again, looks just the same as normal coke. Brown is quite a strange choice of colour for a drink, actually. According to the ingredients it contains ...

"The Zone" has now permanently changed my lifestyle since I first read it two years ago, and to a lesser but still important degree, that of my wife.
Even if you read it and decide it is not for you, it is still a very good and very interesting book,... more
