The vanish products are owned by Reckitt Benckiser, they also own other famous brands such as finish, lemsip, dettol, E45 & optrex to name but a few. All vanish products are that distinctive bright pink colour. This product comes in a 400ml spray can, which states that it will dissolve stains instantly. The only gripe I have with the can is the lid which when I finally get it off I always end up breaking it as it is very cheap plastic.

...picked up a can of Vanish PowerShot and off I went.
It comes in a 400ml aerosol can, which is pink like all other Vanish products, with the Blue/White/Yellow Vanish logo & an image of a bit of carpet being 'shot'. It says it dissolves stains instantly & is an Unbeatable Carpet Stain Remover. So I gave it a shake & off I went. You really should read the label first on these products, but I don't think about these things! I sprayed it onto one of ... ...it. I then read the label & followed the instructions of spraying, then giving it a rub with a damp cloth & the the stain disappeared! So I worked my way through all the stains, the bigger ones needed a few sprays but within 10 mins all that was left was a damp patch! So its easy - spray, bubble, fizz, rub, repeat until gone!
So you can imagine my relief when the new livingroom carpet arrived & it wasn't beige/ natural coloured but cream - polar ...
