I've been using the 'active fresh' variant from the Vaseline Intensive care roll-on range for about three years now. I haven't found another deodorant as soft and gentle as this one is, whilst it still having the ability to do its job well.
The Vaseline Intensive Care roll-on deodorants come in white plastic packaging with the Vaseline Intensive Care logo on the front. They are similar in shape and size to many other roll-ons on the market. You can expect to pay around £1.49 for this deodorant in a chemist such as Boots and will probably pay even less in your regular supermarket.

The 'active fresh' variant which is the one that I use, has a very clean and fresh fragrance with a skincare feel. It's a soft and woody floral fragrance with gentle notes of watery lily and powdery violet and soft fluffy musky back notes. The fragrance is very subtle but does remain perceptible on the skin throughout the day. I've found that one application in the morning keeps working all day long and into the evening, and it doesn't leave a powdery residue as do some of the other types of deodorants.
The products packaging itself states that it is: - Clinically proven to help keep you dry. - Contains Proderma (a trademark of the product) - to help protect underarm skin. - Alcohol free
The product also states that you should allow it to dry before dressing. Taking no notice of this, I have on more than one occasion dressed immediately after applying, only to find that it can stain clothing. After washing clothes in the washing machine, white tops have come out with pale yellow marks where I have got the deodorant on the fabric.
Apart from my last comment about staining clothing (this can be overcome by taking note of what it says on the packaging), I find that Vaseline Intensive Care Deodorant is a great product to use and although for years I used a spray on deodorant, I will never go back. Due to the product being alcohol free it doesn't sting on application. I have very sensitive skin but it causes me no irritation whatsoever and keeps on working throughout the whole of the day.

...deodrant i have ever used. Vaseline seem to have mastered a delicate fragrence with total protection that you can trust and rely on. Although it takes a while to dry, it is worth the wait as it won't let you down. Even during extreme periods of exersise, it keeps you cool and smelling fresh. I got mine from 'Safeway' but i'm sure you can get it from other chemists etc. I think this roll - on was really good value and is also a handy size to take ...

Advantages: Perfect deoderant Disadvantages: Boyfriend's use
I have been using this deoderant for years and there are none better, not only does it do exactly what deoderants are supposed to do, it has such an unobtrusive smell it might as well be unscented. Reasonably cheap and lasts for ages, compact and avaliable down the corner shop. The only bad thing is that it smells so ungirly my boyfriend uses it on his nasty pits. So, in that case it could be called unisex.

VIC stands for Vaseline Intensive Care. I was on the lookout for some more deodorant, and decided on trying something I'd never tried before. And thought I'd give this anti-perspirant roll-on deodorant a go. In Superdrug I paid just £0.99p for a 50ml bottle of this. This was on reduced offer at the time, so presume the normal price is normally over a pound.

The deodorant comes in an all white small bottle. On the front is ... ...- in my case, it's 'Fresh Balance'. On the back are the ingredients. There is a tab in the corner to lift up. Under the ingredients is a small paragraph giving you the directions and the contact details.
This is all the information you get. They do tell you it's a Unilever brand.
The white screw on/off top is big and reveals a nice big ball to roll on the deodorant with. What I like about this type of deodorant is that the ball is big and easy ...

...staying power, I tried the Vaseline range, not long after it was launched.
Top marks to Vaseline for producing another great product. It actually kept me dry and the smell is so fresh, kind of a fabric fresh smell or 'straight out the shower' fresh smell!
THe small bottle is ideal for keeping in your bag and it is definately great value for money. There is no stickiness, no whiteness and the staying power is great.

I have been using VaselineIntensiveCaredeodorant for a couple of years now. I have found it very reliable. I would recommend the spray over the roll on as I have used both and found the spray more effective.
I also have very sensitive skin and this deodorant has 'pro derma' protection, ideal for people like myself!
The price is also very good I usually pay £1.50 for a 150ml can. Its very good value for money.
I would highly recommend the 'aloe' fragrance as it is very fresh. However, I would not recommend the 'fresh balance' fragrance as it has a very soapy smell to it.
Overall, this is probably one of the best deodorants on the market at the moment. I wouldn't use any other brand. ...

I used this product in combination with a quick spray of aerosol deodorant (VaselineIntensiveCare) which is a new trick of mine. I'd done this before with other roll ons, but this was the most effective combo I'd found so far. It kept me totally dry all day, which is a real must during the working week.
