VASELINE INTENSIVE CARE DRY SKIN LOTION - Firstly I would like to say please ignore the photo of the product above as it seems to be out of date as the products bottle is a different shape and design now.
YOUR SKIN When reading beautymagazines, you will always find that the best skin tip is to moisturise it so that it looks its best. This is not just to apply some lotion on it; it also means to drink plenty of water every day so that your skin looks nice and healthy because it is hydrated.
With the summer coming up, most of us don’t want to hit the beach with dried up skin (especially as I live next to the sea), so I thought I better do something about it. I always dig out this body lotion in the summer, as it is my favourite and I have been using it for a few years now, for an everyday lotion it is great.
PACKAGING My favourite body lotion is Vaseline intensive care dry skin lotion. It is packaged in a yellow bottle (very summery) with a blue and green label. On the back is displayed a clear sticker with blue writing that has directions for use on it. The directions are very informative and have four diagrams with the different ways to use it, which are all over body, all family skincare, after shower moisturisation and after-shave moisturisation, which makes it attractive for the blokes to use too. I would not say the packaging is fantastic, and would not really catch my eye on a shelf of loads of bottles, but if you know what you are looking for its pretty distinctive.
PRODUCT The lotion is a yellow lotion, which is not very thick so make sure that you don’t use too much. It is easily absorbed and has a fresh, almost talcum powdery smell. I like it because it doesn’t make my skin feel greasy afterwards, so you can get dressed without your clothes sticking to you! The lotion is very gentle, and it is lovely and cooling, so if I have run out of after sun this stuff is great to use. It contains Vitamin A, so at least it’s feeding my skin with something. The bottle states that it is a proven formula, and being someone that has used it for a long time, I can definitely say that I agree, I don’t have majorly dry skin but it does make my skin soft and silky.
PRICE The price of this product is about £3.50, which I think is very reasonable. When you think about how much you can pay for a similar quality product you could be paying about £15 or more!! Vaseline is a very reputable make and I totally agree that you get extremely good value for money.
WHERE TO BUY IT You can buy this lotion from just about anywhere you can buy body lotions from; supermarkets, chemists, boots, even local shops. The price may vary from place to place, but only slightly so I just buy it from wherever I am at the time.
ADVANTAGES The advantages of this product is that it smells lovely, is very reasonably priced, it is easily absorbed; it is not greasy and is made from a very reputable make. For any queries or comments about this product, call 0800 591720.
DISADVANTAGES The only disadvantage about this product is to make sure you don’t spill any lotion on the lid because it dries all sticky and horrible. Ugh!
CONCLUSION Overall, I am thoroughly impressed by this product. I can use it anywhere and I have tried many different brands of body lotion, so if anyone knows, I do. Many of my family and friends use this, one of which is a beauty therapist so it must be good!
I recommend this to anybody who wants silky soft skin this summer or a soothing lotion after shaving.

I use this one on my hands and after shaving, it's really good, apart from the way it dries on the lid, as you said, I hate having to wipe that off!

Well written opinion. I have used this before and I agree that it is a good product which I will probably buy again once I have finished using up the body lotion presents I got for my birthday. By the way I was told that Ciao are able to upload photos again, so it may be worth sending them yours again.
