*** About the Product ***
This is a product I doubt we'll find in many guy's bags. With it's pretty pink packaging 'Vaseline Hand and Nail Lotion' is definitely aimed at the female market.
With milk proteins and AHA included, this cream works by making nails up to 50% stronger and leaving hands feeling soft and smooth to the touch. The milk ... ...and flexibility. It's easily absorbed, lightly fragranced and non-greasy.
To get the best out of this cream it is advised to use it 2-3 times a day.

Dry hands can be a nightmare. They start to itch, start to sting and they just don't look or feel nice. They can be caused by a variety of things but for me it was washing up without gloves and it got so serious I was really worried. The skin on my hands looked like something from a horror movie, it was just peeling off and my hands felt like snakeskin. I was recommended the Nivea Hand Cream originally along with E45. Both creams are reported to be really good but although they covered up my dry skin for a while, they didn't actually make it any softer. I was ready to make a doctors appointment about them until my fiance bought me Vaseline Intensive Hand and Nail Cream.

*** My opinion on... ***
When buying a hand cream I look for a variety of things, the main one being the results it leaves after using it, others being the price, the texture of it, for example how easy it is to rub into the skin, and the smell. So just to give you the best possible information on the product I can I will write about every aspect I look for in a hand cream and whether or not it lived up to it starting with the texture.
1) The Texture
Some creams you get can be really greasy and not that easy to rub in even though it says on their packaging that they are. Others can be too thin in texture and equally can have the same problems as the thicker ones with not being able to rub them in that well. With this one the cream is quite thin although not watery.
When you squeeze it out you'll get a little blob of it on your finger and although you can see it is a little thin, it doesn't run at all, not even if you move your hand upside down. It seems to stick to your hands even when you are rubbing it in so it never makes a mess. The thinness of it also means that you never have to use a lot to cover your whole hand. That first little blob that you squeeze out lasts for both hands no problem. So this is great news for the lastability of the product.
2) The Smell
The smell of this cream is the second biggest giveaway as to who the product is aimed at. It is slightly fragranced and I have to say it is quite a nice, soft, definite feminine fragrance. It has a kind of smell that lingers at the back of your nose. It's more a fruity fragrance than a floral one and it kind of reminds me of fruits such as oranges or lemons though I can only smell them faintly. It's definitely a pleasant fragrance and it makes a change from all the others that I have tried that just smell of cream and aren't particularly nice.
3) How Easy It Absorbs Into The Hands
As I mentioned, the texture of this cream makes it really easy to absorb. It takes literally around 10 seconds to absorb completely and there's not a bit of grease to be seen. Pretty impressive I think!
4) Results
I've been using the product now for around 3 weeks and I have noticed a dramatic difference in my hands. I tend to use it when I need it and don't always stick to the 2-3 times a day but the results have still been fantastic. My skin now feels completely soft again compared to it's earlier snakeskin feel that it had. There's no flaking or white patches of skin to be found anywhere and generally my hands look a lot healthier. It took around 2 days to see the dramatic improvement which I thought was extremely good when other creams failed to even cover it up after that amount of time. It's also stopped the sensitive feel I had to my hands when they were dry, which has really improved my lifestyle because before I couldn't touch certain things or do certain things. I will say though that if you do start getting a reaction like I did after washing up, start to wear rubber gloves. If you put the cream on before you put the rubber gloves on and wash up you'll notice it will work a lot better because the heat helps absorb the cream easier and to give the hands better benefits from it. The cream may help dramatically but the best idea is to stop doing what it was that caused your hands to be dry in the first place as obviously whatever it was didn't agree with your skin so it could be a potential health risk.
5) Price and Availability
My fiance got mine from Tesco for 1.19p for 75ml but it is also available at Asda at a slightly higher price of 1.25p. It is also available in a bigger size of 200ml which is 2.59 at Tesco but not available in Asda. Other stores that may sell it include Superdrug, Boots and Savers. Prices will vary depending on where you shop.
6) Lastability
Because you don't have to use that much of it this cream will last you at least a month. Obviously it depends on how much you use and how often you use it but for me I've been using it every day usually twice and I've still got over half of the little tube left. I think thats pretty good and it adds to it's value for money.
7) My Overall Opinion
I really love this cream from it's pretty little packaging to it's gorgeous smell. I've found my perfect hand soul mate in this cream and it really has made a huge difference in my skin. It lasts a long time and it's quite cheap to buy too. I don't feel any need to switch to the bigger tubs of it as the little one is easier to carry around and it lasts just the right amount of time I'd like it to before I have to buy another one if that makes sense? I doubt very much I'll be changing from this, if I did it would have to be for something pretty spectacular to turn my attention away from this one. I really do recommend this to any of you ladies reading this and I hope you have found this review helpful.

...the shop brands and the vaseline so I would bother with them just go straight for this one. Be warned though, they sometimes use similar packaging (a pink upside down tube) so make sure you pick up the right one!
The more observant of you will have noticed that the title says that this is hand AND nail lotion! Indeed it is. I have found that it absorbs into my nails if I massage it in and over time my nails are a bit stronger. I was very surprised ... ...you go.
So use…
My personal preference is squeeze a little bit onto every nail on one hand and then wipe my other hand's nails against them so I have about half on each hand then I massage into each nail in turn then massage the rest into my palms and the backs of my hands. (I usually have to add a little more to do my hands properly).
I tend to do this just before I step out of the house, bedtime, or at other times when I won't need to touch ...

I chose Vaseline Intensive Care Hand and Nail Lotion. A bit of a mouthful, but don’t, even though it smells good enough to. It tastes horrible. My baby pink tube is 75ml (£1.35 – Boots price) with a clip cap. Very satisfying to clip shut and open. You do occasionally get gunky bits drying around the tube opening but I can live with that. It’s a good size to store in your handbag for dry hand emergencies. If you have limited space in your ... ...day. (They’re more forgiving than they let on.) You don’t have a portable mole? How can you live like that?
Not only does this lotion smell really fresh and clean (sort of baby fresh and clean with a hint of fruit) it also leaves my hands really soft and well moisturised and it absorbs really quickly without a trace of grease. I hate hand creams that leave you with sopping greasy hands meaning you have to wander around for half an hour while they ...

...could refuse? Not me!
Vaseline Intensive Care Hand and Nail Lotion comes with a flip top lid that just clicks open and shut again, it smells good to, a bit like Johnson’s Baby Lotion – very clean and fresh.
A little squeeze of this recyclable tube gives me a nice cooling pink blob in my hand which I massage gently into my hands, not forgetting about my cuticles because they need a bit of tender loving care also, it dries very quickly ... ...Those nice people over at Vaseline say if I continue to use this at least 2-3 times a day, I will see a difference in the strength of my nails, helping to stop them splitting, chipping or even breaking – in fact they promise your nails will be stronger, anything up to 50% is the claim.
Ok I'll admit it's no Clinique, but then again that smooths out the fine lines in my hands so I don't really think it can be compared.
I have been using this ...

(“,) So why Vaseline? (“,)
Well it is the safe option isn’t it? Vaseline has been around for many years and everyone I know has some form of Vaseline in their home, but what attracted me to try this particular hand cream was the fact that the tube is pink…. Yes how very sad of me but I like all things pink and im sure someone can vouch for that!!

Vaseline Intensive Care Hand & Nail Lotion to give it its full title is not only a lovely shade of pink but is also has a flip top lid which clicks open and shut with ease. The tube itself displays clearly the Vaseline logo, which is white text upon a blue background closely followed by information on what you are purchasing, in this instance “Hand & Nail Lotion”.

Advantages: Long lasting, absorbs quickly, helps to look after nails as well as hands! Disadvantages: Overpowering floral scent, leaves skin a little tacky.
The cold weather is finally here and my hands hate nothing more then the wind and cold weather. I don?t have particularly dry hands but they still need some love! I also find that the hard water where I work (and their newly fitted hand-dryers) leaves my hands a lot dryer then they usually are and feeling a bit tight and not as soft as I like! So, I have been adding hand creams to my desk draw as well as perfumes, lip glosses and everything else I keep there for emergencies!

Do you suffer from dry hands and skin, or even dry split nails? well this is the product fro you.
I have been using this vaseline intensive care hand and naillotion, for the past year, and i have to say this is one of the best handlotions on the market.
I find it softens my hands with out leaving them feeling greasy, as soon as the lotion is absorbed your hands feel grease free and smooth.
this product is also aimed for softening your cuticles and strengthening your nails. so it is ideal if you do your own at home manicures as the cuticles push back really easily.
It strengthens your nails and prevents them from chipping, splitting and breaking, this really does help strengthen your nails. So if you are prone to dry brittle nails this will do the trick.
