Advantages cheap, easy to obtain, works wonders on chapped lips

Disadvantages doesn't taste good!

Unfortunately, I'm prone to having extremely dry, chapped lips. I've tried so many lip treatments, both cheap and expensive. I tried Blistex, some Neutrogena repair balm that tasted of cough syrup, MAC's lip conditioner, Palmers cocoa butter balm... all helped for a few hours but never really helped in the long run. Finally, at my wits end, I ended up purchasing one of these blue tins of goodness in Boots a few months ago. I put a little on my lips, massaged it in and... wow! My lips felt baby soft, and they stayed that way. Sure I have to apply it a few times a day to keep them soft and smooth but this is the same for any lip product in my opinion. Obviously it's a bit greasy feeling and it doesn't taste good at all but I can overlook that as it works so well. Instantly soothes and moisturises my dry lips and KEEPS them soft unlike the other lip treatments I tried that work for a short while, but make your lips go back to being chapped and dry within a few hours. Vaseline is cheap, easy to get hold of and most importantly, super effective. Will be buying for the rest of my life!
