Could this be the ideal family car?
Advantages: well-priced, reliable, good fuel economy/handling, spacious Disadvantages: no lumber adjustment on driver's seat, no MP3 support or iPod jack
...Well, it's that awful time again for changing the family motor. So I thought I'd share a few thoughts on the car I have right now and the one I ordered the other day for delivery soon - in both cases the Vauxhall Astra 'Life' Estate petrol automatic. ...

Possibly the worst car I have ever driven
Advantages: It didn't let the rain in Disadvantages: terrible comfort, performance and economy
The last hire car I had was a new Vectra estate. I'm afraid that, after only one day, I called Avis and begged them to take it away.
It's a very long car, and quite narrow. The boot space looks spectacularly good but when I loaded my tools and spares ...
