vauxhall merviva cdti

Advantages: multi function seating system & size of the car
Disadvantages: blind spots, noise of engine, visability for reversing

This is an excellent family car. It takes a bit of getting used to as it is quite large & initially feels like you are driving a bus. The main problem with it is the blind spot, its massive you will find it in the panel between the front windscreen & door, untill you get used to it its bests to stop at junctions & round abouts. It also takes a lot of getting used to for reversing as its hard to judge distances in. Once you get past both of these ...
...as you are driving at an elevated position. The seats are quite hard & not the most comfortable, but thay are muti position & fold & move in various ways you can even make the boot bigger, which is already large by moving the rear seats forward, this still needs plenty of room for passengers in the back. The engine is quite noisey & you must keep the revs up. I would reccomend any one try this car, I'm very pleased with mine whilst still being aware ...

Good, but some bad points

Advantages: Nice ride, and cheap to buy
Disadvantages: MPG, Blind spot, cam belt

...sport is bettter!! 3. Vauxhall told us the we had to have a new cam belt on at 40,000 they have been having them snap on cars with that sort of millage. I have never know this!! If you can live with these, the car is great we take our little boy and big dog out in it with no problems, the ride is good even on long journeys, they are very slow but you are not going to buy this sort of car to go racing!! ...

Vauxhall Design 1.8i 16v

Advantages: Great family car excellent to drive
Disadvantages: not found one yet

I have recently bought a Meriva. I found the car very reasonably priced and a very nice looking car. When i bought it and drove the car home i was more than happy . Its a smooth comfortable drive. It doesnt feel as big to drive as it looks. Feul consumption is good. Excellent family car, the boot is big enough for a pram all the baby toys and clothes, and even for a weekly shop. The back seats can move forwards and back they recline and fold right ...
...moves up and down for all sizes of people. All electric mirrors and windows very handy. This design has tinted windows on the back windows which helps prevent dazzling headlights from behing and keeps the car nice and cool on those hot days. Very happy with this car would recommend to anyone. ...

A brilliant family car - the meriva

Advantages: very spacious and easy to drive.
Disadvantages: small glove compartment.

...I went to the vauxhall garage in great bridge and looked at them. I really liked the meriva design which costs around £15,000. That one had two sun-roofs, trays on the back of the front seats which would be ideal for my son, a light in the back for him and other nice additions to it. I knew I wouldn't be able to afford that, even on finance so I had to look at used cars. I found a car that I liked on finance. It was a blue/green coloured, 05 reg ...
...I do think that because vauxhall is such a popular car brand, getting the parts for it is really easy and isn't something to worry about. I feel very safe in the car with my children, the car has an airbag for me and a passenger airbag which meant my son couldn't sit in the front but that wasn't a problem because my daughter prefers to sit in the front and he isn't bothered where he sits as long as he has his dinosaurs with him. The car also has ...

Vauxhall Meriva Car

Advantages: A feeling of safety on the road
Disadvantages: Left hand indicator doesn't click off and windscreen bars obscure view

I bought my Meriva in 2004 and I love it! I enjoy driving it very much. Because you are higher off the ground than a normal saloon car you get a much better view of the road ahead and the oncoming traffic. It is a very comfortable car with lots of leg room in the front and rear seats. There are rear trays that can be pulled down for use when on a long journey which have proved very useful to my children. The rear seats fold down enabling me to carry ...
...that there are a couple of things that could do with improvement. One affects the view of the road from the windscreen - the bars at either side of the windscreen are quite thick and on occasion have obstructed my view to oncoming traffic. Luckily because I am aware of this I am extra careful when going around corners or pulling out into oncoming traffice. Another annoying thing is the left indicator - it often doesn't click off after I have made ...
