5 Stars Of Corsa It's Good Review with images 06/09/2004

Advantages Advantages Brilliant extras and comfy drive

Disadvantages Disadvantages A little low on the power

Vauxhall Corsas are extremely popular cars. Their sales are only beaten by the Ford Focus. The car we have is an 8 month old Vauxhall Corsa Design. It has a 35 plate but was sold originally in February 2004. It was used by BSM driving school and has 10,000 miles on the clock. We bought it from Skurrays in Swindon. Corsas are currently a good buy. Because driving schools thought them good cars to use to teach their students. However, after the dual controls were fitted they quickly realised the clutch begins to stick occasionally. So most driving schools were quick to sell their Corsas on. This ... more

    Advantages Advantages great small car

    Disadvantages Disadvantages none

We have had our vauxhal corsa that long now it even has a name, mertle. Everything we own ends up with a name. I brought my corsa back in 2002 and paid £3500 for it, it is the 3 cylinder ecotech engine 1 liter well not quite a liter but rounded up to that on my log book. It is a 3 door in red with not a lot of mod cons but has been literaly indestructable. I have brought a few cars since then and kept donating this to my hubby and saying i wanted to get rid of it but keep ending up with it back as it is so reliable. Poor mertle has been abused by me for 6 years now and is still going strong ... more

    Advantages Advantages Cheap, Reliable

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Boring

I have owned my lovely, British Racing Green, Corsa for almost two years now and feel well qualified to spout off about this little beast. The car is due it's first MOT next month, when I will be updating this epic. I paid around £5.5k for the car which was barely a year old when purchased with just over 10,000 on the odometer (clock). This was a real bargain as apparantly the model is quite unusual and retailed for almost £10k when new. I found this out from a third party, not the salesman you understand. I think they had the wrong price marked up on it as it had only just come in to the ... more

    Advantages Advantages Cheap on running

Disadvantages Disadvantages Depreciating value rapidly now!

I bought my Corsa on recommendation from a Dr who drove a slightly more impressive Astra Coupe. I'd previously had a Ford KA with disasterous consequences. I am no car genius, if I can drive it, it's fine, if it works, it's fine. I bought my Corsa Club on a 51 plate, brand new from a Vauxhall main dealer. For £7495, the spec on this car is relative cheap and cheerful, there's nothing out of the ordinary here. Basic is the key word to the Club model, there is a radio with tape player, manual windows but you do get central locking as standard on the Corsa. Other deals included are 3 years ... more

Advantages Advantages Cheap as chips! Reliable and simple.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Sometimes dull or nerve racking to drive. A car that likes to be driven steady.

I will not descend to other ciao user's need to use the word "Corsa" instead of the word "Course". I feel this is a discreet but effective method of mine to keep true essence of comedy alive. To the review... Let me explain the title. My last car was a Ford Focus turbo diesel. I did write a review on it, but its on another ciao account where I can't remember the password and I believe the email address for that account is in the great database in the sky. Or equivelant. I reluctantly got rid of my Focus after a row I had with my insurance company. I was a loyal customer to Endsleigh Car ... more
