Well after passing my driving test two years ago, it was decided that I needed a car to get around in.
I had been learning to drive in a Renault Clio which I found to be a good car, but at the time I was looking we couldn't find one that was reasonably priced. After trying several cars, we decided on a Corsa Comfort 1L which we bought used from a dealership in Crawley.
Whilst the car is a very good little run around and is an ideal first car, I have a big problem with it. I have a 9mth old son and in order to put his Graco Pushchair in the boot of the car I have to take out the parcel shelf as it won't fit otherwise; also you can't put shopping in the boot if you have a pushchair like that in there, so we have had to spend more money and buy a buggy. On the plus side...The car is designed for women (or so I was told) hence why only the driver's side of the car opens first.
The other good thing about this car is that it doesn't cost much to fill it up most I've spent on filling it up is approx £25 for the month. The interior of the car is quite spacious although the leg room in the back leaves a lot to be desired.
Comfort is okay if you are only doing local driving but can be a bit hard on the rear if you are driving on the motorway. The car I have has air conditioning and airbags and front electric windows but no cd player, which are standard in some cars, this I found to be a bit of a disappointment so have been reduced to listening to the radio whenever I drive.

Sounds like an economical little car, think the boot size is a problem with most compact cars. Jane x
